It is the place to go when your pockets are low, but you need supplies for your home. They sell clothing, housewares, medicines, cosmetics, and hair care. “So nondescript on the outside I didn't notice it for the 4 years I've lived in the neighborhood. Averaged sized store that is MUCH better than the two 99¢ stores further south on Amsterdam, which is really saying something. I found a medium-sized padded envelope and a pack of small safety pins. Pretty random, but since they still carried it, it shows that they do have a fairly comprehensive selection.”

“Not only was I able to cop a bunch of awesome hello kitty stuff but I had lost my phone in the store and Lisa the security guard ran around the entire store helping me look for it, I didn’t get the cashiers name but she was working the register at 3pm on Monday, February 5th, she helped call my phone non stop until I found it. Absolutely went above and beyond for me and I am so grateful for such a great staff to have been working today. (phone was in the car the whole time)”

Store can be a bit disorganized sometimes, meaning there are boxes in corners or in the store blocking area or just in the middle behind something I guess the employees think would be discreet, like behind a column. Their mobile phone case section has been lacking and I'm assuming there is a theft issue(with their products), because I noticed that when foot traffic is heavy with teens, the security would be within the area following or keeping an eye for them. Sometimes there are no bags available and you have to search for it.”

Like most mom & pop 99¢ stores, they have a credit card min (of $5) and all sales are final. They don't supply plastic bags anymore, so bring your own grocery tote. Also, it goes without saying, nothing is 99¢ anymore. ??♀️ I recommend you visit and see the place for yourself.”
