“My car was towed here after an accident. Tom made sure to get me my registration off the window, and my plates. His guys helped carry bags of soil we had in the trunk to my husband's car. He also buffed out some minor damage on my husband's car while there (no charge)! My car was being totaled, otherwise I would've had the work completed here. Even though he knew my insurance company was picking up the car, he went out of his way to help us!”

“I sent my wife’s car to Smithtown Autobody recently and the minute I walked in i felt at ease when I spoke to the front desk. Then I spoke to Kevin and I discussed the dilemma I was in. The whole process was flawless from start to finish and the body shop is top notch. I had a cracked back panel on my wife’s Subaru forester. They fixed the problem and made the car look like it came out of the showroom.
Also to top it off they not only cleaned the outside of my wife’s car, they also cleaned my wife’s inside as well, and it was super clean which was unexpected but also very gratifying to see, and professional on all levels.

As someone who has had worked done on previous vehicles at other auto body shops in the past, this one, by FAR, exceeded my expectations. “I brought my 2019 Thor Quantum here after my head unit gave a video error for my backup and sideview cameras. After having the dealership where I bought the RV from, kicked the can down the road trying to refer me to a Ford dealer, stereo shops, and two so called RV experts either telling me the don't work on cameras systems and I would have go elsewhere. I reached out to Thor who gave me the name and address for Perfect Bodies. I was told that they do Thor's warrantee work, and would help me even though my RV was no longer under warranty. I had no choice but to take it to Joe and his crew. They spent a lot of time on this issue, but got things working. Considering amount of time and and phone calls to Thor's engineers and technical support, my bill was more than fair.
I have no complaints and only praises for this shop. They are honest and hard working. What else would you expect from a professional?
I won't be bringing my RV to anyone else.

“Best auto body shop I ever dealt with. My 2017 c43 amg was involved in a side swipe collision. I dropped it off they handled everything with the insurance super easy and non stressful. “Richard Ciarletta, one of the Service Advisors at Empire Subaru is definitely an asset. I've had three scheduled maintenance visits thus far (vehicle purchased in December 2024), and he has been my service advisor for the last two visits.
I've gone for maintenance (oil change, tire rotations, etc) on both busy and slow days, and at all times, Mr. Ciarletta was always calm and composed. He never rushed me when it was my turn, and when one of the visits became longer than anticipated, he apologized and discounted my bill, which was unnecessary (I was fortunately not in any rush that day). My visit yesterday took all of 25 minutes (Oil Change and Tire Rotation).
Dealerships get a bad rep. for being overpriced and overly pushy; Mr. Ciarletta is an example of this being false. He did recommend services, but just as gracefully accepted me declining them for the time being.
Can I get my service done cheaper elsewhere? Maybe. But the cost of Mr. Ciarletta's professionalism and friendliness is immeasurable.

“Trustworthy and impeccable in their work - we had two cars repaired after being rear ended recently - they didn’t miss a single detail and both came out better than new. I returned to ask Dave a question a few weeks later (after a dealer tried to tell me it was time for new shocks 3 weeks after they had been installed by Schuberts) and he got right under the car and gave me all the info and knowledge I needed to understand their working condition. Wish everyone built their business on trust and quality like Schuberts has for so many years!”
