imho, visionworks should be your very last resort, you should be there only if you can't find a local eye care professional.
the people that 'help' you don't have the information you need and you'll be wondering why things went the way they did during your entire experience. questions will be met with information that only generate more questions.
if you can avoid visionworks, do.

A shell franchise company trying to force telehealth appointments by not staffing properly. The system seems problematic for the employees and it spills to the customers theough the automated systmes in place with Visionworks as a whole.

Good job, I had a visit recently. Time was well spent. There was a very large assortment of frames to choose from. The eye Doctor was very kind and took her time to explain things to me. I was very comfortable to visit there.

I had such a great experience at Empire Visionworks! I originally had a pair of everyday glasses made back in July, but because I have a very small face, it’s always been tricky to find frames that truly fit. The pair I purchased ended up being a bit too large, and I hadn’t been happy with how they felt.
When I stopped in yesterday to ask for a copy of my prescription — as I was planning to go to Warby Parker and pay for a new pair — the manager, Angela, was incredibly kind and gracious. She immediately offered to let me choose a new frame and even waived the fee to have a new pair made, even though I was slightly past their 100-day return policy.
Angela, Goldeen, and Lori went above and beyond to make sure I left happy. Their professionalism, kindness, and genuine care are truly rare these days, and I can’t thank them enough for turning a frustrating situation into a positive one.
One note for Visionworks corporate: please consider expanding your selection of petite frames for adults. Those of us with smaller faces shouldn’t have to shop in the children’s section — especially at 50 years old! A wider range of adult petite options would make a world of difference.
Overall, I’m so appreciative of this team and will absolutely continue to come here for all my eye care needs. Highly recommend this location to anyone looking for great service and wonderful people!

Didn’t even make it to the appointment! That’s how nasty the staffing here is. Change people’s appointments. No verbal confirmation. Nastier than a toilet seat with their damn attitude over the phone when they know they’re in the wrong, oh and when you ask them to speak to their higher up and for their name? They hang up! Great customer service:)

From going to visionworks in the past the Dr remembered me which feels personal, and the woman helped me with the frames was very nice also as the receptionist that checked me in too

Visionworks took extra special care of me in that they called me to have me examined by Dr. Sandy and not by the virtual doctor

My recent experience at Empire Vision works was excellent. The staff was very helpful, and Dr. Sandy was very thorough and explained all the results. Kenny, the optometrist was so patient and helpful in the fitting and selection of several frames.

do not trust your eyes or your money for glasses or an accurate vision test at Visionworks! I left my old optometrist because he passed away. I went to Visionworks. They gave me an eye test. My insurance paid for a pair of bifocals and I bought a pair of seamless bifocals so I had a spare pair. I couldn’t see out of either pair I went back in my 90 days instead of them giving me a new eye test they told me to go back to my old optometrist and get my script which I did so they ordered me two new pair glasses with my old script. The two couldn’t be any more different and I can’t still see the way I should out of either pair, but my 90 days was up so I’m stuck with them and now I can’t get another eye test and fix this for another year and a half. How messed up is that!!!

Thankful they replaced my nose pads, they were 3rd store that I went to. And I was shopping for new location on getting new glasses. Will make appointment as soon as I can, thanks so much
