“We love it here. The teachers are wonderful and patient. The flexibility of scheduling is so appreciated from a family that has changing scheduling needs. Communication is amazing and you can always get a hold of someone when you need to. We love that our little one can attend for a half-day program and get breakfast and lunch.”
“Being a family of color I was very nervous about sending my daughter to daycare just from hearing past stories from coworkers and friends but A leap in learning has been nothing short of amazing! My daughter absolutely loves her teachers! They are so attentive, gentle, caring and loving towards my daughter and all the other kids, it’s truly heart warming. My daughter is learning so quickly and I owe that to all the staff at ALIL! I have no complaints! “Was in Buffalo for Passport Renewal on a Thursday, had their Roast Beef Sandwich with Soup. It was a wonderful meal with real steak quality beef and generous portion, better than if not on par with casino buffets in Vegas and Atlantic City. The Waiters and Servers were wonderful and does everything with a smile and positive attitude. It made the already great food taste even better. The only regret is that I missed the Friday Prime Rib. The teachers there are doing a great job and it shows. I look forward to visit them soon on a Friday/Weekend trip soon!”

“Coming from somebody that has actually worked in the childcare field, there’s no other daycare around that I’d feel comfortable with sending my kids to other than Childtime of Buffalo. They provide so many perks to ensure a peace of mind such as the ability to check on your children live whenever you want, daily updates on activities, nap time, eating, diaper changes, communication with the teachers, and more. Also, you can really tell that their entire staff loves what they do. They are so friendly and treat the kids like their own family. My kids love going to daycare. 10/10 recommended.”
“Facility is very secure and staff are friendly! The classrooms are great for the age in the room with tons of neat and unique options- multiple outdoor play spaces, inside play house, etc. The teachers are very aware of allergens which is such a huge sign of relief.”

“Joining a fitness center can be intimidating if you’re not in the best shape or don’t own the latest brand of activewear. Fortunately, that’s not the case at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Buffalo, which has one of the best gyms in Western New York. By “best,” I mean well-equipped, clean and well-organized, and reassuringly down-to-earth. Established in 1948, the JCC has two locations: the Benderson Family Building, about a 20- minute drive from Buffalo, and the Holland Family Building, a 5-minute drive to downtown.The Holland gym has a combination of cardio machines, including ellipticals, stationary bikes, treadmills, and rowing machines, as well as weight machines and free weights. There are also plenty of classes, though I haven’t taken advantage of one yet.The fitness staff are friendly and there to help and encourage you, not browbeat you. You might also experience a laidback camaraderie with your fellow exercisers—people of various ages and walks of life, sweating side-by-side in unspoken solidarity. Most of us aren’t training for the Olympics—we simply want to reclaim muscle tone, maintain a healthy weight, release stress, and maybe add a few years to our lives.If you want to take care of yourself, I encourage you to try the JCC. And if you’re a parent with young kids, check out the preschool. My daughter went through the preK program, and she thrived. She even learned how to swim in the JCC pool as a toddler.”

I am amazed at the excitement and joy that she is experiencing while learning. The things she has accomplished in pre-k is astonishing! “My daughter loves Brightpath! From the moment we walked in to do the tour she ran in like she has been there before. Miss Bre, Miss Janet are wonderful. They are so welcoming, great with communication, if you need them for anything they are there to help. My daughter loves all of her teachers in both rooms (she goes back and forth depending on drop off/pick up time). Miss. Olivia and Miss. Karina are both amazing teachers, they take their time with the kids and build a great bond/relationship with them. Brightpath helps each child excel with their learning abilities on a daily basis with doing a wide variety of fun activities, and keeps you updated on your child’s day to day activity with posts. “Bright beginnings has been nothing but wonderful since our arrival 3 years ago. Even through the pandemic, they were accommodating and understanding. Turnover is NOT high here, unlike other places.
