“Great inn with friendly people good food and drinks. They were very helpful when my friend was exposed to poison ivy and the owner and employee came to the rescue with meds and advice. I'll be stopping next time im riding the new Adirondack Rail trail.”

“We did not stay at the Inn this trip but we may in the future. My party of 6 were celebrating my 60th Birthday, February 2026 and we thoroughly enjoyed our chilly Sleigh Ride through a magnificent snowy terrain, an unforgettable “spirited” Speakeasy and an amazing German dinner made to order for the most memorable evening. We ranged from 23-63 years of age and we all enjoyed this special evening at the Lake Clear Lodge. Shout out to the staff who help run a multi- generational family business who made us happy to be in their company and learn not just their history but the areas prohibition story in a fun interactive staged show! Unique experience we all will cherish!!!”

“You nearly earned a 5 star. Only reason for 4 stars was there was no fridge or microwave in the room. (Come on guys that is a must in Hilton Hotels). Now on to the good stuff. We stayed on the 6th floor. We loved the look of the hotel. Its 1920s all the way, yet very modern, classy even. Staff who man the desk are very professional. Even shared a few ghost stories with us. We didn't get to see a ghost while there ;) But maybe next time. The beds were comfortable. The view from our room was stunning. We could see the downtown. For our 30th Anniversary it was lovely to visit Saranac. I highly recommend this hotel. Its located in the heart of the town so you can walk out of the hotel and within 2 mins be at Blue Moon Cafe for breakfast ( or you could use Hotel Saranac's Campfire Restaurant ) Origin coffee is 2 mins away too. So you can park there and walk the whole down town without driving. Thanks staff. Very kind.”

“Truly an amazing resort with excellent service. Tennis, archery, are throwing, boating and swimming on the lake plus more. Meals are 3 x day prepared by excellent chefs. Dinner is usually altogether. Jacket and tie for men except Wednesday and Saturday night when it's black tie formal. Only 11 rooms with max of 22 guests. At least 4 open bars on the property. Go if you can afford it. If you don't want the long drive, there is an airport with daily flights from JFK and Logan”

“Great visit to Saranac Lake. Beautiful hotel right on the water. Chairs & fire pits outside. Room was clean & modern decor. Comfortable bedding. Sweeping lobby & great room. Excellent restaurant too; we had dinner & breakfast there.”

“The room was a typical room that could use some updating. It was clean though. The biggest issue was the very slowly draining bathroom sink. The breakfast was very basic, little bit of fruit, cereal, waffles, juice and milk.”
