“Came to the Devlin to celebrate my husband‘s 60th birthday with 12 friends we were blown away! The staff bought my husband a gift beyond surprised! Everyone was impressed with their rooms how clean and comfortable they were. The suites were gorgeous, breathtaking views, and so much space for families to enjoy time together overlooking the gorgeous mountains. Location is perfect, price is affordable. Don’t miss out. You won’t be disappointed.cant wait to come back!!!”

“Highly recommend! We had our honeymoon here and it was a very beautiful historic building, very clean, and a very well-decorated room. Comfy beds, amazing jacuzzui, and spacious; true to the photos.

Some issues: we did not realize it was two huge flights of stairs up to our room, so that was unexpectedly difficult with the luggage. We also had an issue with construction noise in the building next door, plus some confusion around where and how to park, but the hotel staff were quickly responsive and in the end, the hotel made it right, so were appreciative even though it was frustrating.

Highly recommend a stay! Great access to local dining, shops and nightlife. We would definitely stay again if we return to Lake Placid.”

“Our room at Main Street was great. Very comfortable and central to town. We had 1 minor issue where we didn’t have an extra roll of toilet paper and we ran out. We called the main number to get some more, but no one answered. We went to the main hotel and were given more rolls. We also tried to call the main number for something else and the phone wasn’t answered. My one other comment was that the blinds in the room were thin and while it made the room bright, my personal preference at night is to have it darker. Maybe adding some blackout shades to the rooms would be helpful for folks like me. Otherwise, we loved the room and location and will check you out the next time we come to lake placid.”

“We had a great stay at this hotel. Location is ideal for the Main Street and Olympic rinks / museum. Very convenient to walk to many places.

Parking is quite tight when full and many trucks; head toward the back for more space.

Breakfast is quite nice for warm offerings. Cookies are offered in the lobby which is a nice touch. Front desk staff is really friendly and helpful.

Room are a bit dated but clean, bed is comfortable. Bathroom is very small but the showers have great pressure.”

“Hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. When entering our room it smelled very clean and was immaculate. Comfortable bed and my husband has never slept better while traveling. Beautiful location and preferred it isn’t
directly in town, but in walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel for business and personal travel.”

“Super cute little inn with mini fridge and microwave in the rooms and a surprisingly nice bathroom. Stayed in room 19 so we got a balcony with an amazing view right outside. Our hosts were extremely hospitable and kind. Only complaint is that we moved two separate beds together and under the bed wasn't vacuumed, along with the air conditioning unit in need of a good cleaning. Everything else was spotless and I like that they provided multiple lamps in the room instead of an ugly ceiling light. Will definitely stay again when I find myself back in Lake Placid.”
