“Came to the Devlin to celebrate my husband‘s 60th birthday with 12 friends we were blown away! The staff bought my husband a gift beyond surprised! Everyone was impressed with their rooms how clean and comfortable they were. The suites were gorgeous, breathtaking views, and so much space for families to enjoy time together overlooking the gorgeous mountains. Location is perfect, price is affordable. Don’t miss out. “Lake Placid Lodge was absolutely wonderful. We stayed in a Lake View cabin, which was only about 60 feet from the lake, with gorgeous views through enormous windows. The cabin was extremely comfortable, with a lovely sitting area, complimentary drinks and snacks, a wood-burning fireplace already set up, and s’mores kits. The service was exceptional—warm, thoughtful, and never intrusive. When we asked about hikes, the front desk immediately offered us bottles of water. We were traveling with our dog, Buster, and this was one of the most genuinely dog-friendly luxury hotels we have ever visited. A dog bed, bowls, and a toy were waiting for him. He could go almost everywhere in the Lodge except inside the restaurants, and there was plenty of outdoor dining. At Artisans, they even cooked him a chicken breast. He was celebrated, not merely tolerated. Breakfast was included and delicious, and dinner at Artisans was excellent—high-end food with relaxed, friendly service. The boat tour was another highlight. Buster could come along, our guide was terrific, and we spent an hour seeing the entire lake. With the outdoor fire burning all day, Adirondack chairs everywhere, and the extraordinary setting, the whole place felt completely authentic. It truly felt like being a guest at a Great Camp. We met people who return every year, and now we understand why. We would absolutely love to return.”

“Location was perfect! Room was clean and had all we needed. Although , lobby staff was not too professional or personable. Also was never informed that you cant eat breakfast provided in the lobby building if your in a different building. We will most likely be coming back. Great time!!”

“Highly recommend! We had our honeymoon here and it was a very beautiful historic building, very clean, and a very well-decorated room. Comfy beds, amazing jacuzzui, and spacious; true to the photos. Some issues: we did not realize it was two huge flights of stairs up to our room, so that was unexpectedly difficult with the luggage. We also had an issue with construction noise in the building next door, plus some confusion around where and how to park, but the hotel staff were quickly responsive and in the end, the hotel made it right, so were appreciative even though it was frustrating. Highly recommend a stay! Great access to local dining, shops and nightlife. We would definitely stay again if we return to Lake Placid.”

“OMG! Don't go on Ironman weekend in July. You cannot get to hotel. You need to park about 600 yards away and walk in. Hotel doesn't tell you when you make your reservation. No free breakfast. It was a nice hotel though.”

“Super cute little inn with mini fridge and microwave in the rooms and a surprisingly nice bathroom. Stayed in room 19 so we got a balcony with an amazing view right outside. Our hosts were extremely hospitable and kind. Only complaint is that we moved two separate beds together and under the bed wasn't vacuumed, along with the air conditioning unit in need of a good cleaning. Everything else was spotless and I like that they provided multiple lamps in the room instead of an ugly ceiling light. Will definitely stay again when I find myself back in Lake Placid.”
