“Max, the bartender, and his family that owns the place are all fantastic. The most welcoming environment, and a great NA bottle of champagne made the night great catching up with old friends. The southern flair is a great addition to Lake Placid dining. It’s nice to see a staple such as The Interlaken continuing its legacy in this small lake town. Perfect for a date night.”

“How much we love this place! I feel like I don't want to say how fabulous it is so I can keep it to myself! We stayed the first time when I had an asthma attack from the hotel on top of the hill and had to get out and take a walk to breathe. I was looking up possible other hotels and saw the sign for the Haus. I found the number and called and Mr. Michael was amazing and was able to get me and my son a room! It was clean, pretty, and we had everything we needed and loved being right on Main Street. We were able to walk wherever we wanted and after we wanted to stay longer. Yulia the manager moved us to the room across the hall since ours was taken and we wanted to stay longer and ended up in number 10 for the past 2 nights. What bliss! The staff was amazing! They were available easily by text or phone and accommodated us with any need we had! Towels... change of sheets, cleaning. We went back again the following year, last year 2023 and stayed in another suite since the ones we wanted were not available but without fail, we loved everything about our stay! This time dad came along and he enjoyed it too. Needless to say, we look super forward to being there again this year! Third year in a row! Thank you!”

“My girlfriend and I had an incredible stay this winter! On an early weekend in March, it felt like we had the entire lodge to ourselves. Our room (St. Regis) was stunning with a perfect view from our private balcony, and all food we had from the lodge’s restaurants was top quality. Staff were very helpful and refilled snacks and amenities whenever needed, including unlimited supplies for s’mores! We will absolutely be back.”

“Will definitely be staying again next year!!Rooms: We had a 1 bedroom. The ice maker in the frig didn't work. The bathroom was way to small & as the toilet was so close to the shower, the shower door could not open all the way, making it difficult to get in & out. Living area was clean & updated. Bedroom was roomy & nice. No closet or hooks to hang coats.Walkability: Great, great location. Right across from the rink, which was so convenient for us!”

“We had a great stay at the Adirondack Inn this weekend. Every staff member we encountered was so friendly and accommodating, and they go above and beyond to make your stay nice.To be honest, the building itself is a little older and dated. That didn’t bother us, but if you’re looking for a luxury stay you may not be happy here. That being said, the staff goes out of their way to work with what they have. Everything was spotless, the pool area was full of fresh clean towels, and the breakfast was presented nicely and refilled often. The hotel is located in a great spot for walking around town, and we particularly enjoyed a soak in the hot tub and sauna after skating and hiking in the cold.”

“Just conveniently over the border and in Lake Placid, but without the mess of all the touristy downtown stuff when you need to be away from all the hockey, whiteface and maple syrup! SOMETIMES you want to be away from all that stuff!SERVICE matters MOST!!!The staff is amazingly friendly AND helpful and I simply can't recommend this place enough for that. THANKS for hooking me up instantly with an upgraded room **completely on points** for being a titanium elite member - and because I have 2 wheel drive only and am from NJ lol and this is Lake Placid! Thanks again. OH AND - I forgot something in the room when I checked out and THE STAFF was nice enough to help return to me something that I LEFT BEHIND after I checked out! How dumb of me. haha.Rooms: Extremely comfortable! Who could reasonably want anything more?Nearby activities: Olympic stuff? Whiteface? Hockey? The lake? Maple? Other Lake Placid attractions???Safety: This is a safe hotel.Food & drinks: Plenty in the lobby's shop, plus breakfast! Plus a restaurant with bar ? evenings!Noteworthy details: What i was worried would feel like an "emergency" stopover for snow turned out to be a lovely one night away from home with a private hot tub and late check out! Excellent all around!”

“Super cute little inn with mini fridge and microwave in the rooms and a surprisingly nice bathroom. Stayed in room 19 so we got a balcony with an amazing view right outside. Our hosts were extremely hospitable and kind. Only complaint is that we moved two separate beds together and under the bed wasn't vacuumed, along with the air conditioning unit in need of a good cleaning. Everything else was spotless and I like that they provided multiple lamps in the room instead of an ugly ceiling light. Will definitely stay again when I find myself back in Lake Placid.”
