About Motel Montreal
Motel Montreal is a dated motel dripping with character and 1950s travel vibes, described as theme park-like in its kitschiness. The property is uniquely laid out with bridgeways and has been maintained and kept clean by staff. Reviews consistently highlight extremely clean accommodations, with clean rooms, clean bathrooms, and comfortable beds. The staff is repeatedly noted as very friendly, extremely attentive, hardworking, and providing fantastic customer service, even with late check-in. The location is considered good and great, very close to night life, food restaurants, popular bars, and a facing pancake restaurant. It is close to Lake George events, though it does not have direct access to the lake; there is a public access area a short distance away. The motel features a beautiful pool, a large firepit area, and outdoor lounge spaces. Rooms are sometimes described as cramped but are also noted as large by others, with modern updated bathrooms, Adirondack-style decor, and basic amenities like a coffee maker. Some furnishings are called shabbychic or dated, with notes that curtains need updating and some rooms have older wood bedframes. Overall, it is considered the best bang for your buck, a good stay for the price, perfect for people on a budget or looking for an affordable extended stay, and is a quieter, less noisy option. Many guests recommend it highly and state they would not stay anywhere else in the area.
I honestly think some of these reviews are from people with unrealistic expectations. It's a motel...not a luxury resort. It's a little dated, but it's clean, close to town, has a nice pool, and the A/C works great. For the price, I really don't know what more people expect. I'd definitely stay here again.

It's ok. We chose this spot because it was cheap on a last minute decision. Our room was clean although the bedframe was literally surrounded by 2 by 4 wood frames. There are barely any staff. The curtains are literally see through to where someone can literally try and have a peek inside.
