“We had a quick long weekend getaway with another couple. I cannot say enough about how beautiful this resort is. Rooms and grounds are immaculate. Owners are accommodating and kind. I will be recommending this resort to everyone I know. Amazing place!!!”

“Had a great stay at The Lake Motel last weekend - extremely clean room with a recently renovated bathroom and comfortable mattress. The desk attendant communicated well ahead of and during check-in. The decks down by the lake have beautiful views, nice chairs, and fire pits. Only challenge was with the wifi, but it was a stormy weekend, which may have been part of the cause. I had decently strong cell service (Verizon) in our room, but my partner who has a different carrier did not.Rooms: Basic motel room, very clean and well-kept. Recently renovated bathroom, comfortable bed and pillows. We were there on a busy weekend, and it was a clean, quiet, and safe place to stay.Nearby activities: Right in downtown Lake George, close to beaches, bars, restaurants, and the paddleboats.Walkability: Very walkable to downtown Lake George.”

“We rented cabin 4 and it was perfect for my family and two children. We were right in front of the playground, we enjoyed our fireplace and pool very much! Cabin was very clean, service was great and our adjacent kitchen area was great that it was outside the cabin. Keeps the cabin clean. We only hopes for the cabins to be closer to town but driving in wasn’t that bad! If you want a relaxing spot this is it!! Relax by fire or kick back by the pool! We loved Lake George ❤️Food & drinks: Favorite breakfast spot was called The breakfast spot!!”

“We rented cottage #12 and we do it annually as a large family vacation. The cottage was exceptionally clean and recently updated.. I would recommend this resort as a place far enough from the hustle and bustle of a summer packed crowded town yet close enough to enjoy all the amenities and charm the town has to offer.”

“The owner, Tony was the absolute best host! We got engaged the weekend we were there and he pulled out all the stops—went and got champagne for us to celebrate when we got back and congratulate us. He even helped my fiancé pick out the perfect place to do it. The place is clean and modern, but still homey. The pool and fire pit were super nice after a long day of hiking. Very close to town and lots to do! We will definitely be back. Thank you, Tony—you made us feel so welcome!”

“Our family had an absolutely fantastic time at Park Lake Motel in Lake George! Nestled right on the lake in the heart of Lake George Village, it was the perfect spot for our getaway with toddler twins. We loved that everything we needed was within walking distance - shops, restaurants, and attractions!But what truly set this place apart were the incredible amenities. The lakefront and poolside patios provided serene relaxation, and the beach area with complimentary kayaks made for unforgettable family adventures. Our little ones couldn't get enough of the heated pool and the fantastic lakefront playground area.Our well-appointed room catered perfectly to our family's needs, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The Park Lake Motel is great for families traveling with kids. We can't wait to return for another memorable vacation!”

“I'am a big believer in reviews. I base all my purchases on them. Here are my thoughts. They boast it is elegant and luxury, which in most part it was. This may sound like I am nitpicking, however when I stay at a luxury and elegant place with that price tag, my expectations are high. We stayed two nights. Let me walk you through. Upon arriving staff was welcoming and informative. They gave you some history of the Inn and informed you of the amenities. A matter of fact, the staff was wonderful, from cleaners to waitresses. Our room was clean. There was champagne and water in the refrigerator. Breakfast was fantastic.Here are the complaints. There was a chair in the room with a 6" tear in it, a rug that was frayed, and an ottoman to another chair with a number of noticeable stains on it. All easy fixes! Also, I figured since this was not a hotel room and you are paying quit a bit more, they would come by and give fresh towels and at least make the bed. Nothing major just a bit disappointing. Yes, I would stay there again!”

“My husband and I stayed here for an anniversary weekend. One of the best cabins in upstate NY!? Romantic, perfectly cozy! The staff was very friendly and even shoveled our car out from snow. “This is the 2nd time in 3 years that me and the wife made the trip. Once again we were satisfied. We were able to check in early. Swim in the heated pool.We also learned that the poolside snack bar does breakfast, lunch and serves liquor. Chris W runs this bar and is super friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding activities and places of interest. P.S we also swam in the lake. Definitely going back next year when the season starts a week before Memorial Day.”

“Giovanna's offers scrumptious dinners with hearty portions. There is a nice view of Lake George in the distance (beyond the pool and patios). There are several steps to get down to the restaurant and there is no elevator, so it may be difficult for those with mobility challenges. The staff is very attentive and appreciative of their customers. I had the salmon, which was tender, flaky, and a huge portion. It's a nice place for a quiet, relaxing dinner.”

“This place is a gem! The owner and his son are very accommodating. Very friendly, clean room. Nice pool. Not too close to the strip by the lake and not too far either. I think it has the perfect location. They have two grills that you can cook your own food on if you want. There's so much about this place that I like I can't list it all!!!!! Super impressed ?????Safety: Again as I said it's not so close to the riff raff, that it is perfect for a family. But not too far that it's only 4 min from the lake and six flags.”

“Really nice place. Beds are comfortable. Floors are clean. Walls are clean and the blankets are soft. The bathroom is an actual size shower and bathtub ? which is nice. Heater/AC unit works well. You also have a nice view of the mountains out front. TV is a nice size. Refrigerator and microwave work well.Nearby activities: Plenty of restaurants and bars. Walmart isn't far”

“I had a family room with the kitchenette in it, it was clean and sufficient for 2 people. We stayed there for 5 nights with no issues. I didn't cook in the room, as there are no vents, so I opt to cook outside in their grill. The bathroom is a bit small, toilet is loose and often flushes on it's on. The front desk customer service is great, if you have any request, they respond pretty quickly. The location is great, as it is about 10 minute walk to the village and to the beach and entertainment center. They have good breakfast across the street, so that's good but can be pricy. The food in the area is pretty pricey.”

“Have stayed here multiple times over the past 20 yrs. Clean room with updated laminate floors and updated bathroom since our last visit. Nothing fancy here, and there is still a lot of noise from squeaky floors. But a clean and spacious room, and a nice breakfast. The best asset to this hotel is Ciera, front desk and breakfast attendant. Friendly and helpful, super nice.”

“Great location! Room was very clean, no dirt or mildew in bathroom. Shower is nice and hot with good water pressure. Beds were also comfy and firm and not mushy in the middle. Room decor is beautiful photos of Lake George! Will definitely be back!Walkability: Short walk to beach, walking path and down town.”
“Lovely home with many amenities - We loved the fire pit, pool table, home theater, hot tub and "secret room" for the kids. The location is beautiful on the 11th hole (?) of the Sagamore Golf Club. We enjoyed walking around the immediate area with our two dogs - especially in the snow! If planning for a large group, the bathroom situation could perhaps be explained more explicitly as some rooms require a shared bath. But we made it work. The property manager(s) were amazing - we had a small glitch and they were on top of it and extremely helpful and polite. Communication is excellent. All was good!”
