“This is one of the coolest stores I've ever been in in my life. I wish I had an entire floor of my house that I could decorate, because this is where I'd come...and I'm not the decorating type. THis place has such an amazing eclectic collection of artwork, old advertising, old sporting goods, display cases, books, old luggage, trophies, and so much more. I swear if my wife wasn't in charge of decorating our TV room, I would spend a LOT of money in Gargoyles. Check it out-the owner was super nice and she indicated she'd help find anything (within reason) you need...”

“We randomly stopped by at this location while we were visiting Kingston and fell in love with this adorable shop! Lots of curated, unique decor items as well as quirky cards. When I inquired about a random display, Cindy took down my email address and sent me a note that afternoon on where I could find it; it was super sweet. “I know the struggle is real when it comes to choosing what to buy as a Christmas gift for our family. So the week before, hubs and I scoured this tiny- but mighty shop at the corner of Tannery Brook Rd & Tinker St. in Woodstock. The size of this shop makes it cute. The location is cute. Hell, the products are cute. These ladies have a selection of minimalist-meets-unusual lifestyle and home items ranging from candles, door stoppers, jewelry, blankets, throws, outdoor mats and so much more done tastefully. This was almost a one-stop-shop place for us as we crossed some people off our Christmas list. Between the sofa pillow I got for my Mom, (2) small ceramic candle holders, a fuzzy scarf and tapered candles- things were looking good. Since my daughter's sorority's mascot is an Elephant, I also purchased her an Elephant wooden door stopper I couldn't pass up. List or not, I'd come back any other time to pick up something for myself.”

From the moment I walked into Magic Hill I felt incredibly welcomed and greeted by owner Maor. He is an incredible human being! I instantly felt I was in good hands. His kindness, generosity, knowledge is unmatched.The curation of this elevated space is mind blowing. I found exactly what I was looking for here to really set me apart from what everyone else is doing.Yes some might call me crazy for buying this furniture and putting it in a salon, but this is my dream and I really went for it lol. The store is filled with furniture one would only dream to have in their home one day. I will be keeping this furniture forever.This store is 100% worth the trip, you will find mint condition pieces that I promise you, you will find know where else. They are not only fashion curators but fashion designers. When I bought all my furniture that day, I also left with a new coat!! It is the most gorgeous cream over coat I ever owned, the material, the custom fit, its really is jaw dropping.Oh and if you’re wondering how did I get this furniture to Brooklyn? Maor and Bruce (owners of Magic Hill) delivered it to Brooklyn for me!! The level of professionalism they possess is something you rarely see today. Maor, Bruce I can’t thank you enough! “Rhonda and the staff at Hammertown Rhinebeck are exceptional. I have been shopping here and at the barn in pine plains for over 20 years. I always enjoy wondering around the store to see what is new, how they decorate, and honestly it’s a moment of relaxation. Everything is so beautiful! There is always something that catches my eye that I must bring home. Most recently I ordered a sofa with the help of Rhonda. She always has great ideas and has been very helpful with decorating ideas. There are visits to the store where I can see they are busy and I wait to ask questions another time or send her an email. Never in the 20+ years have I ever had a bad experience. I am so thankful for Rhonda and her staff and that we have such a beautiful store in this area.”
