“Visited the first time today after reading about them in the Chronogram. Such a lovely shop will well appointed gifts at different price points. It’s a beautiful airy space and one of the shop owners, Cindy, was there and happy to answer my questions as well as friendly conversation. I look forward to returning!”
“I came across this incredible store during a visit to Woodstock this past summer 2025 and completely fell in love with it. Everything they sell is of impeccable quality and absolutely charming.
The people who own and/or run it are incredible. I’ve never wanted to linger in a store as much as I do here and I went back twice during my visit.
I ended up getting (among many other things) some hippie drippy candles, and a candle holder for them with a little loop on it. My nightly routine now consists of lighting one of these candles next to my bed and not only enjoying the candlelight but also the souvenirs and marvelous energy from the store itself.
UPDATE: it’s been months since my visit to Candlestock and I have re-ordered my hippie drippy candles in bulk twice now. Both times the packages arrived very quickly and in perfect condition. I love the store and cannot wait to go back.”
“I know the struggle is real when it comes to choosing what to buy as a Christmas gift for our family. So the week before, hubs and I scoured this tiny- but mighty shop at the corner of Tannery Brook Rd & Tinker St. in Woodstock. The size of this shop makes it cute. The location is cute. Hell, the products are cute. These ladies have a selection of minimalist-meets-unusual lifestyle and home items ranging from candles, door stoppers, jewelry, blankets, throws, outdoor mats and so much more done tastefully. This was almost a one-stop-shop place for us as we crossed some people off our Christmas list. Between the sofa pillow I got for my Mom, (2) small ceramic candle holders, a fuzzy scarf and tapered candles- things were looking good. Since my daughter's sorority's mascot is an Elephant, I also purchased her an Elephant wooden door stopper I couldn't pass up. List or not, I'd come back any other time to pick up something for myself.”

“Omg. This is the reason to come to Exit 19 in Kingston…., You will be razzle dazzled when you enter this home decor store. Treasures of all walks of life and more. If you don’t see what ur looking for just ask, it’s in some corner you didn’t see!!! I love ? love this store. It’s like going to Adams for ur groceries except you’ll get more than ur looking ? for!!!!!? Don’t leave Kingston before you stop by. ??

“My favorite home goods store in Saugerties - beautiful and thoughtfully curated selection of furniture and decor items and a very friendly / helpful shop owner. Unlike all those antique shops where 90% of the stuff in there is junk, this store is sophisticated and offers elevated pieces in excellent condition. Highly recommend!”
“This is one of the coolest stores I've ever been in in my life. I wish I had an entire floor of my house that I could decorate, because this is where I'd come...and I'm not the decorating type. THis place has such an amazing eclectic collection of artwork, old advertising, old sporting goods, display cases, books, old luggage, trophies, and so much more. I swear if my wife wasn't in charge of decorating our TV room, I would spend a LOT of money in Gargoyles. Check it out-the owner was super nice and she indicated she'd help find anything (within reason) you need...”

“Highly recommend Petal and Moss, I placed an order Sunday night (not realizing the shop was closed Monday and Tuesday) and I had messaged the business that evening because I had forgot a name on the card- Nancy (the owner) responded letting me know she wasn’t sure if she’d be able to get the order out the next day as she wasn’t open and was working on a large custom order & there was also an impending snow storm in area. Let me tell you NANCY came through and the flowers were delivered early the next afternoon. She also got the name on the card I forgot. Amazing service. Thank you!!”
