“Fetch is such a hidden gem in Port Jeff — seriously, you’ve got to check it out! It’s not just another pet store; it’s a super thoughtful, cozy place that’s clearly built with love. Everything in there is so carefully picked out, and you can really tell how much Patty (the owner) cares about what she brings in.
I’m super picky about what I give my dog, and I was honestly blown away by how much effort goes into choosing healthy, high-quality stuff. Patty knows where everything comes from and truly believes in every product she carries. My favorite thing? The human-grade dog cookies — my dog is obsessed, and I feel great giving them to him because they’re healthy and preservative-free.

“What a great selection of fresh ingredients of dog food, treats, and cakes for dogs. Sure a little expensive but it’s fresh real products, which would cost and take time a lot more if we made them at home. Worth every penny and lovely service.”

“I’ve been a customer with Farmingville Feed for approximately 6 months. I use them to get my mini-dachshund groomed every few months. I have always been comfortable with each grooming session, and have always been pleased with how my pup looks. Laurie is friendly, attentive, and always handles my dog with care. Laurie’s grooming is always done efficiently, and my pup looks adorable and smells amazing every time! Overall, I would highly recommend Farmingville Feed to anyone in need of a professional pet grooming service that is reliable and top-notch!”
“I am giving them 4 1/2. Stars !!!!!!!!!! I have been in the store about 20 times since I adopted my Lab puppy in march of 23. Mostly because they have a large variety of dog products, food, bully sticks toys etc. . Their prices are a bit higher or equal to that of the chain stores. But they carry so many items in stock on their shelves it's worth it. Example! My pup is a chewer, loves bully sticks, they have them in all sizes, shapes imaginable including a three foot bully stick. You're lucky if you can find any in the big box stores without ordering on line. I mostly shop in the Selden store, and have been helped by many different employees, all of them have been extremely polite and courteous every time. Never had a problem with any of their employees. Just wanted to mention this because of all the negative reviews on their employees.”
“I went to SC for 9 days recently, dropped my dog at SDK. They were in constant contact with me regarding how Katie(my dog) was doing. I was very impressed by that. They reached out daily, it put me at ease. I’d definitely bring Katie back there if I go away again.”

“Planned to bring my 3 cats for flea baths while the exterminator was bombing out our home. The guy working was really knowledgeable and told me he couldn’t see any on them. I had used Advantage on them 3 weeks prior and didn’t know it would have been too soon for a flea bath if they had needed one. I’m glad he was honest because he said it could have been dangerous for my cats to get the bath. Who knows, other places might have not cared and done it anyway. He let me board them and the dogs while the exterminator took care of the fleas, very nice guy. He has a new customer”

“I adopted Molly from Long Island Feline Adoption Center in January 2023 and Im glad i did and its been nothing but joy and love ever since. Molly is my first cat and I definitely was a bit nervous as I only had dogs previously and I knew the breeds were definitely different. As soon as I arrived at Feline Adoption Center Cheryll took her time to get to know me and my living situation and what I was looking for and matched me with Molly. I came in on a Monday and visited every day that week and went home with Molly that Saturday. Molly is such a sweet, beautiful and well behaved cat. Im so lucky to have her and Im so thankful to Cheryll for matching us Molly is what was missing from my life. Molly is so comfortable in her new home and its only been 5 months and I know that love and joy is only going to continue to grow as I hope she lives a long & happy life. “I have to be honest, when looking for a rehab I skipped this one because of the low stars. The one we picked was awful. I had to pull my father out. a friend then recommended Island. When I first walked in, it was 10pm. I noticed how absolutely clean the facility was. The staff was welcoming. They made my father feel so welcomed. Everyone is so nice. They communicate every aspect of my fathers care. The physical therapists are great. The bathrooms are clean and stocked. My father is a picky eater and they do not stop trying different food so that he eats. the nurses are awesome. I can't say enough how great they all are. Not one issue. The staff answers quickly to the call button. They make sure my father is comfortable. If you are looking for a rehab for a loved one, I strongly recommend Island.”
“I've had a fantastic experience at South Shore Grooming! Janice is simply the best. I've been to several places locally, and I love how Janice only has a couple of dogs at one time, which makes me feel so much better leaving my dog there—there’s no overload of dogs. The salon is spotless, and my 10-year-old Shih Tzu can be a bit feisty, but Janice always knows just how to handle her. She comes out looking absolutely beautiful every time! Plus, Janice is impressively quick, making the entire process smooth and efficient. Thank you, Janice Chesney—my dog smells great and looks amazing! Highly recommend her services!”

“There were not a lot of life aquarium plants to choose from but I found one and I found a new betta fish, as my last one had passed the while ago but it cost $30 for a fish and a plant so a little expensive. But fish like plants and that beautiful little girl needed a home so they're happy fish are happy.”

For all the people complaining about stuff that happens at this location like service being bad and ect. Take a look at yourself first because you’re probably the problem. “I had a great experience here today. I came in with my daughter who is turning 3 in a few days. She’s been asking for a pet bunny for her birthday and after unsuccessfully checking chain stores in the area, I realized that this place was in our town and only a couple miles from our house. I didn’t know what to expect going in but had a wonderful experience. It’s much bigger of a store than I thought it would be and the staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming of a toddler coming in without a stroller. I held my daughter at first as we acclimated and then put her down when we got to the bunnies. All of the staff members who came by us were smiling and in great spirits with good customer service. Once I told someone we were interested in buying a bunny, a female customer service rep helped me and my daughter by giving us all of the information I need to know about bringing home a bunny and she was incredibly patient in letting my little girl pet the available bunnies and decide which she wanted. She was extremely knowledgeable about the bunnies and their policies and procedures for buying one. We made our deposit at the front desk with another rep who was great. We are so excited to pick up our new bunny in a few days and am so glad to know of this gem right by our house!”

Giving 10 stars for the owner who took his time to show us around & gave us a neon tetra glow fish for free to “start us on the right track” Prices compared to Petco & Petsmart are waaay cheaper. And the variety of fishes there is in the store was a plus! We will definitely be back for future needs.”

“This store is always well stocked, neat, and has whatever I need for my pup. I bring my dog to the Pet Hotel and she appears to be treated lovingly. When she comes home she looks well and they are sad to see her go. The reason I gave it 4 stars is Petsmarts policy as a whole that pitbulls can not be put in play with other dogs. I know this issue is controversial but I won't get into that here. I disagree with the policy but other then that this store has been wonderful all around.”

“Good staff. Took a star off because sometime they talk way too much to each other at the counter. While ringing people up, legit delayed time by 3-5min. Sometimes some people are in a rush and each minute counts,other than that. The Staff is great , awesome people. Respectful , kind. And greeted every pet they saw. And that's a MAJOR PLUS for me. You can tell they are good souls by their actions towards each animal they see. Fudge it. 5 stars.”
