“So grateful I discovered this place. I had my son's birthday party here last weekend and it was perfect! The kids had so much fun playing video games together, and the parents got to actually relax instead of chasing their kids around a big crazy arcade. More than one parent loved the place so much that they plan on going there with their own friends sometime for a night out! The owner and his dad are so nice and chill. Truly one of the least stressful events I've ever planned and everyone loved it. My son has already told me he wants to have his party there again next year!!”
“We had our 50th high school reunion here last Saturday. It was over-the-top fantastic!! Cristina and Andy were so easy to work with! Food was delicious and staff was fantastic! Highly recommend!”
“I’m late to leaving a review, but we got married at the old field club in 2022. We knew we wanted to get married there right away. It’s both intimate and classy. The water view is beautiful and the food and service is great.”
“My Daughter and Son in Law had their wedding there this past Friday, nothing short of spectacular, the staff, the food, everything was wonderful. Everyone went out their way to help make the day special. The one person who was nonstop was Terrance. I've been to alot of weddings and have to say, He's The Best, nothing but a Giant Thank You to him. If anyone is looking to have a wedding reception and doesn't look here, they will miss out on a special day.”
“Enjoyed bowling here with my 2 grandsons. Staff was friendly and patient. They responded quickly when there was an issue with the pins resetting. Food was good.”
“We had our son's 3rd Birthday here is it was a blast. The staff was very helpful in setting up and running it. I wasn't aware of how many times the kids got to go in and play. It was a lot. Plus the parents against kids dodgeball game in the blacklight/ neon scheme was cool too. Parents and kids had a blast and I highly recommend Dart Zone if you have a child that loves Nerf guns.”
“Mónica was great she worked with us to enjoy as wonderful sweet 16 for my daughter
Her staff was friendly and professional
I would highly recommend this event. I love the sweet 16 package they have with options to add on.”
“I get it. You see the outside, and you think it is run down and not taken care of or even possibly closed. Well, it's open. The inside is very clean and maintained and safe for kids to go to. I went there today, and I was happy with my experience. The lanes are well maintained, and the staff there is very accommodating and helpful. It's also fairly cheap compared to other Bowling Alleys around the area. Recommend 100%”
“Our 2yo was in heaven! We started at the toddler center which was cute and very toddler friendly. Then we explored the tall soft playground. It was a little hard for adults to navigate but he only needed one escorted round (and another friendly kid) and he was off climbing around and sliding down the slides. He even made it across the balance beam bridge which surprised me! Then he discovered the inflatable slide… I needed to climb up with him a couple of times until he figured out how to haul himself up by the middle straps and then he was up and down several happy and excited times lol. He was just ecstatic exploring and running around, trying new things.
He was so content and tired that he didn’t even fight when we got food at the food court. I think the kid at the fryer was a bit new bc our order was burnt lol. I saw another family’s order looking a bit crispy too. But it wasn’t very expensive so we didn’t mind very much and it was just a snack anyway.
All in all it was really fantastic for our kid. He’s absolutely exhausted and in bed early after a bath. What a great and affordable afternoon that was! Perfect for a rainy day.”
“Absolutely amazing staff. "Beer garden" was fantastic! A bunch of outdoor games all well maintained and each fun in their own right. Mini golf course was interesting as well, more traditional then whimsical, but fun to play. Great day for families or friends”
“Take my kids here for birthday parties and lessons. I have never had any complaints or heard any about the place or any staff. Plan on bringing all my kids here for lesson as long as they keep playing ball”
“Played this track two days ago (08/01/2024) and I was pretty happy with a 13 over 85 score on this relatively benign and short (Par 72, 6,173 yards from the tips) Devereux Emmet track (he also designed Garden City CC, a NY top 10 among private tracks).
All-in-all, for $27 (3PM true twilight rate: $23 + $4 reservation fee), it was more than worth the 26 mile trip to play one of the oldest tracks on Long Island albeit the difficulty level was down a couple of notches and the course was a bit beat-up with more than several bare spots, dusty cart paths and poorly maintained bunkers c/o Mr. Fox.
On the positive side of things, the tee boxes were in good shape and the greens were significantly smaller but ran true so I think that I've fared pretty well with smallish greens based on my track record on similar tracks this year.
Based on my recent experience, I think Emmet's course still has the bones of a good track despite the obvious lack of maintenance, but I hope that the town invests more to keep it in better condition.
As a bonus, I was also able to pick up a couple of spectators of the 4-legged variety (see pic below) for a few holes.
I may even assign some blame on Mr. Fox here for costing me a stroke on hole # 12, where I had a downhill stance due to the burrow from his den that was situated in the greenside bunker.
Anyway, I'm pretty happy with my score, so it's still all good in Mr. Fox's neighborhood.
Going in, I expected to shoot a low score due to the relatively easy rating (69.3/124), but I still had to grind to eke out a decent score.
One other thing that I noticed is that the facility has two working shower stalls, but whoever thought it was a good idea to use it as a storage area must have a screw loose.
I think if the stalls were maintained properly, they'd be more useful for golfers who'd be traveling from far away to play this good track.
Side notes:
[1] No driving range
[2] Shower stalls inoperable
[3] Putting green available
[4] Do not feed the wild life except for Mr.
Fox's brother, who was limping from one
of its hind legs.
[5] Excellent walking course with no
barriers or ropes. Tee boxes were close
to previous holes.”

“For some reason this post is coming over in my daughter's name. It is however, coming from the Mother of the Bride. Had my daughter's Bridal Shower Brunch here on 5/21/22. The hall was perfect for the event. Alex was amazing, and so was Max. Both of them were so accommodating and easy to deal with. When you're planning an event you're already under pressure wantingeverything to go just right. They made things easier, especially Alex on the day of. Both of them are rockstars! I would definitely recommend this hall .”

“Cozy, quiet, clean with great free breakfast buffet. My only real complaint is there’s nothing interesting in the immediate vicinity. Which is obviously not the hotel’s fault but it makes it kind of boring at times.
Nearby activities: There’s a petrol station nearby!
Walkability: It’s easy to walk around the facility I think you’ll find the ground is quite suitable for stepping on.
Food and drinks: Excellent breakfast buffet, surprisingly robust selection in snack shop.”
“Whether you get the dark or light lanes, Cameron the server is a delight- super sweet girl and when we checked in Joe helped us out when our lanes were malfunctioning. They made our night very fun! Definitely recommend this place!”
“My son loves coming to this place, it's super nice and helps him interact with super cool people, but I think they need to lower the price a little and put more food and soft drinks on the menu”
“Very big, comfortable rooms. The breakfast is excellent. My only real complaint is that it is impossible to take a shower and not get the floor wet which wouldn't be a big deal but the maid never made up our room for the 5 days we were there.”
“Great affordable venue with up close personal feel, and the great outdoors. Well worth visiting, recommend to park by the exit for quick departure after a concert”
“Well run hotel with helpful and friendly staff. Especially those on the front desk in contrast to what other reviewers have said. For us visiting from the UK nothing has been too much trouble. Breakfast is convenient and great value. Only issue for us is the hotel allows pets so with the recycled air through the AC system even those in pet free rooms can be affected if they have allergies. Also hotel needs to sort out a deal with Disney as 11/50 TV channels are unavailable currently.
Rooms: Rooms are spacious and well equipped with comfortable beds if decor is a bit drab. Nice big screen TVs.”
“Stayed here for a wedding. Had an overall good experience and service was great. Akua made us feel welcome from the start with her friendly and wonderful personality. Room was nice and hot water was uninterrupted. After leaving, I realized I had left a dress in the room. Security, the front desk, and housekeeping all worked together to track down my dress and arrange to have it sent to me. They were all very pleasant through the process and wouldn’t you know it, Akua made the final touches to the process to ensure I’d get my package delivered. Thank you to Akua and all the wonderful staff at Jake’s 58!”
“We had the honor of bringing our DJ and Photography services to a wedding at Beach Club Estates and they did not disappoint! The grounds were absolutely beautiful and the staff is OUTSTANDING! We had the pleasure of working with Luis, Monserrate, and the rest of the amazing and hard working staff, and we hope for the opportunity to work with them again in the near future!”
