“A person should always come in to shop at the Dollar tree before they go to their regular grocery store. This time I discovered that there are tons of Hallmark cards that are only $1.25. The lady at the till was very friendly!”

“Some of the shelves had empty spaces, but this store had the BEST selection of kids clothes I’ve ever seen at a DG. A lot of the new ones don’t carry clothes. The women’s and men’s are in separate isles and they are LOW. I’m a short person and to constantly comb thru clothes that are above my head. Is crazy and annoying. They also had the MOST easter stuff I’ve seen in any store. One of my new favs. :)”

“What an amazing store. Clean organized and great selection. It’s the best one in the western New York area in my opinion. I will always shop there now. The staff is so helpful and take the time to answer questions. Really feel comfortable shopping. I believe it’s the assistant manager Jessy that was so helpful to this older couple while I was there I had to take notice. Good employees are hard to find these days. “Great little store. Seems to have one of everything you’d ever need. Nice people, but a high turnover rate with the employees.
As of today (8/17/25), the owner (lease) refuses to fix the store’s plumbing issues and thus, has a port-a-potty in the parking lot for his employees to use! Three weeks!
Three weeks of denigrating your staff and forcing them sit in stench in 90 degrees when they have to use the bathroom. How cheap are you? Have you used it? You’re one, sick individual.”
“I like the redesign and attention to the organization of the store. Been going back weekly since the redesign. Well stocked and clean. I appreciate the wider isles and additional choices of not only food items but much more.”
“The old adage is “you get what you pay for” and that certainly applies here, but the store is well stocked and there is surprising variety to what they carry, things you wouldn’t expect but maybe just one or two options of a certain item. Store is a bit cramped and dim but for a dollar store they are just fine.”
“I ❤️ to stop at this 'Dollar Tree' store , when I am in the area. It has 'LOTS' to offer: a variety of ALL kinds of items, a large assortment of craft supplies, great prices, friendly employees, a very CLEAN and organized store! Win, win.”

“I drove out of my way to work there when they needed cashier help. The staff was very nice and the manager was glad I was there to help out. Although I've never been at that store before, I did my best to help customers find items and I met a lot of nice customers there who appreciated me. If they ever needed cashier help again, I would definitely drive out there again. It was a 45-minute drive, but the kind staff makes it worth it. I also love the toy pigs they have on the registers for customers to squeeze when we have to do restocking in between cashiering!”
“Well stocked. I did have a manager blatantly follow me everywhere throughout the store today. I know I shouldn’t take it personally, as I’ve worked retail in the past and had to do the same thing myself, but boy, is that obnoxious!”
“I forgot to buy cough drops at the DG store I work at so I stopped at the one in E. Aurora on my way to church and picked some up there. Very nice staff. That store isnt as big as the one I work at, but still was able to find what I was looking for. (I supply the church with cough drops when the weather starts to get cooler!)”
“It's Xmas Eve and we realized we needed more milk and the grocery stores are closed. I stopped in here and a cheeerful employee directed me to the aisle with milk. A moment later, the same helpful and friendly young lady rang me up and I was on my way. I wasn't expecting such fast and friendly service so late on a holiday evening. Thank you!”
“I absolutely love the Dollar Tree. They have tons and tons of art and craft stuff but a fraction of the price that you would pay at a craft store. The store is great for stocking stuffers, making birthday or holiday baskets. Home decor to kitchen, utensils, and even food! This is one of the my few fav stores to shop at. It literally has a mix of everything!”

“Kudos to the whole team at the location on Walden Ave in Depew. It was the cleanest and most organized Dollar General I have ever been in. I have avoided this chain for years, as well as one other like it, because of bad experiences like disorganization and lack of customer attention. But this store in particular was immaculate and the staff was friendly and hard working, and it showed! They didn’t mope around acting like they hated their job, wishing they were someplace else. Thank you for caring about your customers and place of employment. Well done! You truly are appreciated!”
“Glad to see a store that has enough items that don't cost too much, and save a trip to Alden or East Aurora to get.Store is immaculate, and free of carts for the number of times I've been in there. In addition, the staff are friendly and have been willing to help customers instead of hiding from them.A national and regional chain store was kind of expected to happen eventually, and I'm glad to see that Dollar General came in and has provided a quality experience for its customers.”
“Was in the store today around 530-6 pm. I accidentally left my wallet under the flap in one of the carts. it has my social security cards as well as my children's. It had all of my money for christmas For my kids. my medical cards for myself and my children, as well as around $40-$60 in cash and my bank card and other cards. I asked to review tapes to see if someone maybe took the cash and threw the wallet onto a shelf or something at least and I feel as though I got a bit of an attitude when I asked. the guy said it's on a 24 hour loop so theycouldnt until tomorrow so I asked to come in tomorrow to see and he then said the manager has to do it and that cant happen til Monday ( which is absolutely fine!) but it just felt like I was a bother to even ask. It didn't seem as though anyone really wanted to help much Except for 1 lady in the store That was shopping. I go here all the time! I am a regular, i absolutely love the workers but today I felt like I got attitude just for asking.”
“I stopped in for a few items, I'm not from the area. The manager Michelle and cashier Taylor were AWESOME. I grabbed the wrong pop that was on sale and they were so kind when I said I messed up reading the sale and Michelle fixed the order and even put the wrong ones back in the shelf ?. The cashier was super kind and smiling the entire time. I couldn't ask for a better experience nor have I ever been in a dollar general with sick kind people I gie it 100⭐️⭐️”

“Once you know the layout, it makes things easier to find the next round. The gentleman who helped me checkout stepped in because he saw a line slowly forming. Very responsive! I couldn't have been in the store for 10 minutes with 9 minutes of that just looking at stuff.”

“I just this location and a beautiful young lady Mya was working both registers BY HERSELF! She went back and forth between registers ringing out customers during a rush. It was at least 20 people in line and Mya navigated it all so effortlessly. She also remained polite through each interaction. I had several items and she even bagged them properly, in a timely manner. I shop at different Dollar General locations all the time and this was the most efficient and pleasant experience I have ever had.
If Mya is not in management, she NEEDS to be and she DESERVES a raise and a bonus asap! Show us you value your employees by recognizing Mya and all her efforts to represent Dollar General in a positive light.”
