“Better selection of things than Marshalls plaza Dollar Tree and not as busy so it's easier to be in & out of there. Plus you don't feel like your going to constantly be bothered by homeless people unlike the Marshall's plaza or University Plaza Dollar Tree.”

“This store has a massive selection of pop,teas,coffees,waters etc. You don't have to drive around town looking for what you want. Its selection of snacks,candy and home decor is pretty awesome to and you get to avoid the crowds. They also have a self service checkout now.”
“This place is nicer than the Canadian ones! May 7/15- skipping school to come here for the day is always worth it! Grade 6 best memory was definitely coming across the border and living! My family with my uncle came and I got chocolate!

“They're very helpful, I like getting balloons for a business I work for so one thing they need is to restock the mylar balloons and maybe have plain all color rubber balloons for sale...that would be great, very reasonable prices, I'll never go to one of those big balloon stores that charge outrageous prices for a little rubber and helium. “Much prefer Dollar General compared to other dollar stores. Love the app. Clipping coupons on the app, also you can scan an item on app to see price and if on sale.
Staff is always very helpful if needing help finding things.”

“Deliveries, huge parking lot, I turned in at Hibbet shoe store (off Elmwood), turned rt behind Bath and Body (just before Target) then a rt at the stop sign (now your facing dock doors, yes under where it says Queen City Liquors) the store manager there mid. Store was cleaned organized I talked to Mgr Laurie on duty very nice . Since dollar tree bought the store name out unfortunately things have gotten pricier but that's the way our economy is right now . If corporate reads this it's all about customer service that's how I was as a store manager if u don't have customer service u don't have a store reward your great employees on board . Better than Seneca st location #7610 .”

“It's a Family Dollar - you get what you expect. However the employees are always kind to me when I go in and the new remodel is very nice. I think having a security guard would benefit other shoppers and the employees. The employees aren't paid enough to deal with sometimes dangerous people coming in and stealing.”
“Great place to grab quick essentials. Before they had switched owners or managers they carried my favorite candy ,(sweet tart mini chews) so I would go there almost every day.
Of course I see something else I'd like or need so I'd of course end up buying other things. Now they don't carry my candy anymore. Now I don't go there as often.

“I have to say...I am very impressed with the overall condition of this location. The staff here was full of smiles and very nice and welcoming ! I frequent this location when in the area and have NEVER seen it look so CLEAN and ORGANIZED! The staff have really put A LOT of effort into getting this location to look this AMAZING ! Kudos to the staff who worked hard to accomplish this! Those of us who work at dollar general locations are aware of how hard and almost impossible a feat like this is! It's easy to drop comments and point fingers at the workers of these stores and say they should be fired. Most of you have no clue how hard it is to work the register and stock shelves along with checking dates and deliveries and assisting customers with only two people on schedule! It's a daily fight to keep the shelves organized. As a customer you don't stop to think about that item you decided you didn't want and you put it anywhere but where you grabbed it from....Adding more work to the employees already long list of things to get done! So ... I say to the employees who made this accomplishment possible..... JOB WELL DONE!!!! YOU DESERVE MUCH PRAISE! To the customers leaving the rude comments... Why not help these employees to keep this location looking good? Put items back where you got them from if you decide not to purchase...when grabbing an item off a shelf, don't make a mess of everything around that item... If you damage an item ..bring it to an employee instead of pushing it to the back of the shelf...and if you are physically able.... Bring that cart back to the front of the store... SMALL simple gestures such as these REALLY do make a HUGE difference! Keep up the good work guys!!! Thank you for making my shopping experience here a very pleasing one!!”
“I go here all the time because of the prices and they have a lot of things that I always need, and it's close to my house. This is the cleanest and neatest Family Dollar store I've ever been to, but it's still a difficult shopping experience. Forget trying to shop with a shopping cart because you can't make it down half of the aisles because they're clogged with so much stuff and they are so narrow. Also, many times they have only one cashier with an extremely long line at the checkout. But what do you want at these prices? To me it's worth going there just for the convenience and prices.”
“A+ for convenience, they have most the everyday stuff you need often, with a WAY simpler and easier experience than a supermarket.
B-for orderliness. They're a bit of a mess in there with the stocking schedule and the boxes/crates sitting around unstocked. But I rely heavily on Fam dollar for getting by so I give them a pass. The staff in there are mostly cool, one guy shares good recipe ideas with me. There was one girl that was so nasty and rude I walked out once. But I don't see her anymore so maybe that's done with.”
