“This is an overdue review! My family and I experienced an evening at Vistamar Restaurant in City Island on Saturday, March 30th. It was my dads birthday and it was our first time back at City Island in YEARS!Angel was our server and he made sure everything was to perfection! I am so pleased with the food! My mom and sister were happy with their drinks and the ENERGY of this place is UNMATCHED! SO SO SO SO MUCH FUN! Dancing and lots of laughs! Will definitely be back in the future and will definately continue to recommend Vistamar to the public!! “Arriving at 6:00 on a Saturday evening without reservations, my companion and I were delighted to be seated at a small booth in the bar area. Great seating, as it was comfortable and felt private. We each enjoyed a special cocktail, and appetizers of delicious cauliflower and truffle pizza and popcorn shrimp (complete with tiny crumbles of popcorn!) We then really enjoyed the chicken pot pie and cucumber and broccoli entre salad. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices were very reasonable. Very fine experience. Look forward to returning soon.”

“I was at Vienna of Roslyn on Friday, January 26th for a Sweet 16. I had a wonderful experience and as I looked around, so did everyone else. The staff were so accommodating and professional. Everyone seemed to pitch in where it was needed to make the guests feel special and attended to. Huge shout out to the DJ's. They played music for every age group and everyone was on their feet. 10/10 for service and fun!”

“I am so thankful for Emily and her entire team. The moment my son started to walk, I knew I had to enroll him in a gym class to burn out his toddler energy. Initially my son was very shy and took awhile to warm up to Emily but after a few classes, my son was running around the entire gym and having a great time. He learned to climb and go down the slide from the play gym. Emily and her team are so kind and genuinely love playing with the kids. I’m honestly sad that we are not able to continue since my son will be attending daycare soon. But I highly recommend for all the first time moms. It was such a safe and fun place for my son.”

“First time at this establishment, was here for a birthday celebration so we were in a private room in the back. The minute we pulled up, the valet greeted us and took our car..very nice touch considering the restaurant is in the middle of a residential area, so street parking may have taken us sine time to find. Inside the decor is very nice, not a match to the outer facade which is clean, but basic. We were greeted warmly and escorted to the party room and almost felt like we were in a small wedding hall. This is the perfect venue for a small reception, baby shower, birthday or any other gathering that can accommodate 75+ people.As beautiful as the venue is, I'm sad to report the catered buffet food was not pleasant. Everything was bland and did not please our palettes. The cocktail hour with the hors deuvers was great! We would've been happy if they fed us those all night, they were very tasty bites. I would visit again but to sit in the main dining room and eat from the restaurant menu because the food has to be better than what we were served.All in all everything was great, just not the catered entree dishes.”

“The BEST venue for what we needed! Celebrated our baby boy’s 1st birthday here a few weeks back. We used their clown who did face painting, animal balloons, and cotton candy as well. The kids loved it, even the adults wanted to get their faces painted! Lourdes was amazing and accommodating from the first day we met her. Answered all of our questions and was always available to contact in case of anything. Would recommend (and already have) to my friends for all future events. Thanks again Lourdes!”

“Let me start by saying that I am the bride that did not want the hassle of a wedding but ended up having one anyway. A huge factor was the staff at the Westchester Manor and how incredible they were. From the beginning of the planning process until the big day, John Gresia and his team made the process of wedding planning a breeze. John had recommendations for local vendors, in which we used his vendor John for the photobooth, and we cannot say enough good things! Aside from being a beautiful, local venue, the food and attention to detail were excellent. My husband and I had our reception at the Westchester Manor on November 11th, 2023 and it exceeded our expectations in every way! We received positive feedback from all our friends and family, which made it all the more worth it. Our guests to this day are still complimenting us on the service and the food served from cocktail hour, through dinner and dessert. John was always available to answer any questions, was super accommodating through the process, and made everything run even more seamlessly the day of. I cannot wait to have future events here.
