“VFGS is my Thursday place to be for lunch with an old friend. The atmosphere is welcoming and eclectic; there is always new and interesting merchandise to peruse. But...the food is what always brings us back...oat milk chai, lemon scones, chocolate chip sea salt cookies and the breakfast sandwich with turkey sausage...and chicken salad and soups that change weekly and are all delicious! The staff is friendly and efficient and remembers your name and your preferences. A hidden jewel in our community that I am so grateful for!”

“The soap here is bar non. Pun intended. I particularly get a lot of benefit from the pine tar soap. Clears up any dry skin, keeps my hair soft, and makes my tattoos sharper. I feel the prices are very fair, and if you store the soap properly and ration it, they will keep for a long time!”

“Staff are friendly and helpful. It's reminiscent of Hot Topic, but more on a nerdy/anime theme. You can find Studio Ghibli items, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, etc.Minus a star because the quality of the t-shirt I bought was not what you would expect for the price (the overall design is what sold it for me). But I'm a DINK, it was for a gift anyway, and YOLO.”

“I absolutely love it here. I live not too far from here, biking distance. My friends and I love biking here when were bored. Overall the store is clean and sectioned well. It always smells so good when I walk in. The staff here is so amazing. They make you feel so welcome and they help you with anything. The prices are really good and this store is one of my favorites to go to.”

“I shop at Maggie’s fairly regularly. Friendly and knowledgeable staff that always goes above and beyond to be helpful. A good spot to look for niche collectibles. What’s great is that their website reflects updated in-store availability. Feels good shopping local and supporting a small business. Only downside is that they do not price match.”
