I recently relocated from Orange County and I prefer to keep my car maintenance with the dealership. I was happy to see Northway have service hours that work with my schedule. Ease of scheduling and overall service were great! I loved the little drink area with cold drinks as well as the coffee machine. I will be back for sure.

After having two bad experiences in one day at other car dealerships, on the drive home my wife looked at Northway's website and saw a pair of used cars that were exactly what we were looking for. She wisely called them to ask if they were actually on the lot and still available, but couldn't seem to get a straight answer. The person on the phone wanted to create an account for her and kept asking information about her name, phone number, etc. Finally, the man on the phone conceded and said that one of the cars was still there.So, the next day we came to look at the cars. We were assigned a young salesman who seemed very pleasant. He couldn't actually find either car were were asking about on the lot, but apparently thought we were looking for a new car. We showed him the website and disappeared to find them. Surprise surprise... one was already sold and the other was so new that it hadn't even been cleaned out. But, I liked what I saw and loved the color so we decided to get serious about it.We ran the numbers and I ended up buying it. I had to come back the next day to pick it up and turn in the plates (which caused a bit of a problem as I couldn't unbolt them from my car, which lead to them offering a trade value for my 2005 relic with nearly 200,000 miles)! That aside, the used car was everything I was looking for and I am really happy with it.I have purchased two Toyotas from here, one new in 2008 and one used just now. I hate car buying but thankfully don't have to do it often. I understand that the new car market is tough (I overheard one salesperson saying that if a new car were ordered it would take months to arrive), and the used car market is just as bad. But, if a dealership is going to show cars on their website they should update it daily to remove cars already sold. Beyond that, I am pleased with the experience here.

Dalton is the man!!! We started out looking at a Sienna mv but after working with Dalton and him making sure we got to test ride a Grand Highlander... we were sold. Great dealerships have great sales people... Thank you Christian & Dalton for helping us get a beautiful car. We highly recommend this dealership.

I don't know why people refer to New Yorkers as aggressive or mean because I wandered into 2 separate Toyota locations, unannounced, on Saturday, and received top-notch service. I bought my TRD Pro Tundra a few months ago and I love it, but I've discovered some manufacturing flaws (a picture of the deficiency is attached). Not trying to throw shade at my Yota family, but the real superheroes are the representatives at the service locations around the US. They got me in and R2 the seat shroud, I love being a part of the Toyota Care Family and if you ever need service anywhere in the Capital Region visit any location and let me know how your experience was. Thank you GOD for good people and thank you Toyota Human Resources for hiring wonderful people.

Just went in for my first oil change with my car that I bought here. Of course it was a little more expensive than at other shops, but they never tried to sell me anything else. It was done in about an hour, which coming from DePaula was about 3 hours less than I was expecting. Great waiting area as well!

bought a 2020 RAV4, very pleased with the car itself definitely not pleased with the service manager , first visit was several attempts at calling service department from the number provided on the website failed attempts with the first service. This should have yielded me to go back when returning for a second visit was told I would be charged for a tire rotation that the service manager promised would be free. Miscommunication between staffing happens. The customer service relations should always be pleasant and not have you feel like you're at fault. When questioning, my warranty was told, the service department could not help me with that and I would have to speak to accounting, accounting told me service advisor most certainly should be able to give me that information they just didn't want to be bothered. To end my experience, the service manager verbally came out in front of everyone in the waiting room and was not only rude but unkind . (asking questions on a $1800 warranty shouldn't be an issue !)No one should feel belittled like that . On a positive not Bob the attendant was very sweet as was the check out receptionist. service department should take a lesson from them !

The family car needed multiple replacements, and our service advisor and technician at Northway did a great job. They were upfront, knowledgeable, and nice. The dealership was a great place to wait for a few hours as well.

Brought my Dads car in for inspection this morning. I had an appointment. An hour later I was given a list of items which included brakes to pass the inspection. I explained my Dad was just moved to assisted living and we would soon be looking to sell the car. So, I decided to get the brakes done for $545 ($100 off) to pass the inspection. I passed on the $300+ of other misc recommendations. The associate said the dealership would buy the car. He could have someone talk to me about it. I said that would be great. The brakes would take an hour to an hour and a half. I saw no one. 2+ hours later, I see the car on the side and looked for the Associate. He had left for the day. Another Assoc got my paperwork and told me the car was just brought up. Sorry… that’s not true. I’d rather be told someone made a mistake. I can forgive that. 3 1/2 hours for an inspection and brakes. Not very happy.

EDIT: Owner response does not resolve any of the issues I presented. I interacted directly with the third party because Northway Toyota was radio silent, absolutely zero communication. And that doesn't even begin to address the fact that my car sat in the lot for three days and Northway couldn't even do the 5,000 mile service. You betcha I picked up my vehicle from the third party, you had it for a week and did diddly squat for half of that time. The body issue was acknowledged by the third party and I am currently working with them directly to resolve the issue, their customer service has been excellent, not even worth comparing to Northway. Just acknowledge your mistake and treat others better.Service department is the worst I have ever experienced. I honestly don't know how this place is still in business. I was told I would be provided a link to review my experience but never received anything so here I am to review on google and anywhere else I can find. First, it took me three weeks to get an appointment, after calling many times and leaving my contact information with their answering service twice. My sales associate finally got me an appointment. I would have gone elsewhere but I had to bring it back here as they didn't adequately fix a body issue that they promised me was resolved before I purchased the car, "its brand new" they said. After I dropped off my vehicle, I got absolutely zero communication from my service advisor. After 4 days, I finally asked for the contact info for the body shop so I could speak with them directly. When the body shop finished their work, they called the dealership to ask me to come test drive it, still nothing from my service advisor or Northway. The only reason I knew this was because I, again, communicated directly with the body shop. So I went to the body shop to test drive it and discovered that Northway had not even done the 5,000 mile service (basically a tire rotation). After it sat in their lot for 3 days before they took it to the body shop. When I asked my service rep about this, she went from 0-100 and starting yelling at me. From start to finish, this was the worst service I have ever experienced at a dealership service department and I will not be returning. I took my car to Lia Toyota for the 5,000 mile service and they had it done inside of 2 hours.

My daughter brought her highlander in for a growling problem in the left rear. We were told that the problem was in the transmission. If we were to replace that we should go ahead and replace the entire drive train to the tune of $10,000. I drove it to ABC Transmission. He replaced the left rear wheel bearing.

I’m always skeptical of auto dealers with tons of 5-star reviews but I have to give credit when credit is due. Mike at Northway was great in handling the sale of my extremely hard to find blue MT Supra. He was upfront got the deal done quickly and there were 0 games with him or in the financing office. I drove up from NYC to pick it up and I’m not even sure the whole transaction took more than 45 min. I was missing a cargo mat and he already had it on its way shipped to my home address from Toyota. The car was clean with no scratches and no issues. Will definitely recommend family and friends looking for a Toyota or just an easy car buying experience go to Mike. Thank you for truly helping me get my dream car.

my last two service experiences with our 2016 Toyota Corolla and 2020 Toyota Highlander were top notch as ever! Service staff were beyond friendly and efficient!
