I've taken my dog to other places for grooming. PetSmart has been great for my best friend. The shampoo keeps my dog smelling nice the longest, and they DON'T sell it. They shape his hair cut up nicely; they are a training salon for grooming. They are competitive price wise and my terrier isn't a nervous wreck when coming out or when I bring him back. ❤️

Constant rescheduling to be told they can’t assist my dog after they saw the dog the day prior.

Good for general pet supplies but that’s about it. Their fish are sourced from who knows where, the animals aren’t taken care of as I feel they should.
I buy food and aquarium accessories/chemicals and that’s about it. Customer service is hit or miss, also the stores can be on the dirty side.

Cashiers are very friendly but...this place is a bit gross and definitely needs to be cleaned and tidied up. There are spider webs between the aisles and shelves.

Great selection of pet supplies. Allow leashed pets. Have an on-site vet, groomer, and dog training classes.

I went to the Latham PetSmart to purchase an algae eater for my aquarium. The 2 employees started asking questions about my tank, and instantly started making comments and opinions of my tank to the point where I said “forget it, I’ll go somewhere else”, and walked out. I wanted to simply buy a fish, not be berated by 2 useless clowns who think they know my tank better. Needless to say, I got what I needed down the road at Petco, without hassle or insults.

We went in to buy a 25 gallon tank for our baby bearded dragon because right now we only have a 20 and I wanted to get an offordable upgrade and this associate said she'd refuse to sell us our bearded dragon unless we had a 40 gallon and made us feel like we couldn't get the tank so we left with just a decor item and nothing bigger for her. We looked it up and it says a baby\juvenile can be in a 20 gallon minimum and a 120 when they're an adult. I see there is more complaints about her and nothing is done though so hopefully this helps. We're customers be nice.

My husband wanted to get a few necessities for his aquarium but couldn’t help but notice the wide selection of fish the Latham location offered. We left with another member of our underwater world, a male betta we named Bandit and 3 large containers of dog treats for our four-legged family members.
