“In all fairness we got off to a bad start because I kinda misunderstood hence: Be clear on the return/refund/exchange policy! But ever since he's been great!!! And has extremely fair prices for an antique store! And unless you're willing to put in a lot of work/time to save a buck or two it's hard to beat his price! Considering stopping in??? My suggestion is don't be in a rush you will definitely want to have time to look around! He has EVERYTHING! And is good for keeping an eye out for something you may be looking for should he not already have it! I get lost in there lol. Not physically.....but memory wise WOW! I only allow myself to go in once maybe twice a month because I never leave empty handed! He also makes for some good conversation so I pop in after my haircut nextdoor every now and then! And when I say be prepared to spend, it's not because his prices are too high but I have very little self shopping control! Hahahaha thanks for everything see you soon! I need some Islanders memorabilia you have my number!✌️♥️&?s”
“This place is a treasure trove! We are so glad we stopped in as we found some unique vintage items. The owner, Fernanda, does a terrific job curating some fun and authentic items. If you are looking for some interesting and one-of-a-kind decor or vintage china, head to this place. We are from out of town and will definitely come back the next time we are in NYC!”
“There is so much stuff to look at and it is so cool that you want to spend an entire day. Very nice owner. A little bit of everything. They even have comic books and toys”
“This was my very 1st time at a consignment store ,and I must say I'm hooked ! My experience was very pleasant Cooky did everything she can to help me, the staff is so friendly and warm ,very welcoming ! Thank you Cooky for making my visit so comfortable! Already planning my next visit ..”
“William is an incredible, upbeat and charismatic manager. you can tell his staff respects and appreciates him. Been to this spot a few times over the years to just drop off; brought family from overseas to do some shopping and they bought wrong sizes. ASked William if I could exchange 4 items 5 months later and he made the exception and was very graceful.”
“I found some cute knick-knacks and books here today, and the owner gave me pretty generous prices. Its your typical thrift/antique store, they have something for everyone if you look around a bit. They’re only open Sundays and they accept cash or venmo/cashapp/zelle, no cards. :)”
“My husband and I love to shop at this store. There is a girl name Sarah who is very professional and very helpful. She really did offer us great customer service that that makes you feel comfortable from the time you enter the store. We love to shop here.”
“I’ve been going here for a few years now and I’ve found some really great things for cheap. There’s a HUGE selection and a lot of high quality brands if you look carefully. You also get a 20% off coupon if you donate, no matter how much. Overall it’s a really fun store to go into and there are good finds :)”

“Prices align more with a higher end cosignment shop in NY but the layout, display, & selection here is quite nice. Many quality items throughout the store + a nice atmosphere. Worth the look for unique items close by.”
“Why the hell would a convenience store not have a single set of mechanical pencils. Yes, have 30 varients of gel pens and 2 types of wooden pencils but absolutely 0 forms of any mechanical pencils. Also, what store prices a singular fork at 2 bucks. Insane. 1 block away you can get 2 forks for 1 dollar.”

“Having lost a lot of weight, I needed clothes for a wedding. A neighbor said "Go to Canny". They helped me get an Italian Wool jacket and slacks, all for $20.00. Amazing! Now I won't go anywhere else for clothes! I love these women. I hope everyone reads this. I want them to STAY in business. From DrBHappy, Westbury, NYFrom DRBHAPPY (It's on my license plate)”
“so many vintage selections to choose from . The moment you walk in you get to see a little bit of everything , from like old school tables to lamps and many more options I love this place I want to go back already.”

“I have only one charity, the Salvation Army. They were very helpful when I needed it. I grew up in Brooklyn in the projects. I wanted to travel but I didn't have much money. A friend told me that the Salvation Army is everywhere, so wherever you go, you can spend the night with them. They will feed you dinner, give you a clean bed to sleep on, and breakfast and farewell and Godspeed in the morning. So I went to California and back, and stayed in one of their places every night. In Snyder, Texas, they put me up in the Snyder Hotel, because they didn't have any other place for me. As a result of the treatment I received on my journey, I vowed to pay them back, which I have done and will continue to do. I have read some of the other reviews that were less than kind, and I have run into people of means that are never happy unless they have something, anything, to complain about. While I never abused drugs or alcohol, I have known people that were helped by the Salvation Army, and that's ALL THEY DO. They help people in need, and never ask for anything in return. That is the true meaning of charity. Whenever I donate clothing, it's always in good condition and clean, but even if it's not, they make sure that it is before providing those people who need it. This past Winter, I dropped off over a hundred pounds of clothing, worth many thousands of dollars, and I never ask for receipts. Where is it written that charity requires a tax deduction? I promise to continue to bring them anything I don't need for as long as I draw breath. As for the complainers, shame on you.

“I love love love this shop. Hidden gem. I found several amazing items including a formal dress and work skirts in the $2 rack. I got a huge kitchen garbage size bag full of clothes for $40 and that is because I bought a wool cardigan for $20. Is mostly clothes and also have misc items. I saw lots of jeans. Women and men clothes. Very reasonable prices. Also have shelvea of jewelry and sunglasses which got some. I wish they opened sooner or had longer hours ao I could stop by more often. This place only sells what they receive in donation and place is small. But its worth a stop bc of the prices. Items out were in good condition.”
“incredibly mixed bag but overall good. i got a nice belt, shirt, 400 dollar leather jacket, and pants for 20 bucks total. BUT if they know the brand the markup will be crazy. 400 dollar used burberry, 100 dollar used doc martens. etc.”
“PROS: It’s super big so you’re bound to find something. Lots of random things like knickknacks, school supplies, and appliances if you’re interested in that. Nice selection of jewelry. Also it’s in a mall/bazaar that includes a tailor and a smaller more expensive second hand store with a nicer selection.
CONS: They keep your bags behind a counter while you shop so make sure you wear something with pockets for your phone, wallet, etc. You can’t use the dressing rooms and there aren’t a lot of mirrors around. They have employees do the “self checkout” for you which is kind of awkward. Full price is a bit expensive but they have each item tagged with a different color and each day a different set of colors are on sale so you can still find deals.”
“My husband and I (I am Vanessa Pero MD) came in almost at closing time yesterday evening, and were greeted warmly, not at all rushed and in spite of my multiple questions about a variety of items, I was treated with courtesy and patience - and was even directed to areas of the store where particular discounts were being offered! We are usually on the donating end of our transactions, and I wish that I had photos and/or names of the personnel as I cannot praise them highly enough. Actually, the entire staff was wonderful! So donate, make purchases, I am sure that you won't be disappointed with these lovely people!”
“I dropped off multiple bags of unneeded clothing and books to this thrift store, conveniently located in the downtown part of Lawrence. This worked out great for me as I was moving out some items from a relatives home. The drop off door in the back was good, someone came to retrieve the items, they seemed surprised that I had a few bags, I’m not sure why. This seems like a great thrift store, the only issue was with the parking in the back. It was very difficult to find a parking space, and I would have thought the parking spaces would have been free, but they require coins, which I don’t always carry. I literally double parked for less than 5 minutes to bring items to the donation door, but I don’t recommend it! Perhaps they can upgrade the parking payment to electronic payment and add more spaces elsewhere??Nevertheless, I am very glad that this thrift store exists! I was in the area going through many unneeded items, many of which were in good condition and I hope someone else can enjoy them. All best wishes to them!”
