I could have SWORN I posted a review of this WONDEFUL gem in the NYS Parks crown years ago, but if not, I'm waaaaaaaaaaaay overdue!! I grew up in Huntington but somehow never made it here until YEARS after moving away. Long Island, and Huntington in general have become SO congested and BUSY, that finding a spot to "get away from it all" is not just an option for a fund getaway, it's almost a necessity. Whether you're here for a quick walk, or really want to get into some longer, more scenic hikes, you'll be surprised to discover how many wonderful options there are here to explore!! We took a looooooooong perimeter hike on a beautiful fall day, and hit the woods, the beach, and lots of scenic stops in between, totaling nearly 7 miles!!If you're even CLOSE to this neck of the woods, DON'T miss this WONDERFUL gem in NYS' state park crown!!

Beautiful place to bike, walk, and admire God's creation in any season. When the historic farm is open during the warmest months, it is a great place to observe and learn some history.

Beautiful location with a 3 mile trail to walk. I only did half, but it's so peaceful and serene here.

Beautiful natural setting at Lloyd's Neck , Long Island. As the leaves change color, it's a perfect venue for a Sunday stroll. Fresh air, blue skies and quiet... Great for the soul.

The park is beautiful but not being allowed to have a dog there is outrageous. Whoever makes the rules here needs to lighten up. You don’t need to control everything. By not allowing dogs you’re discriminating against a large part of the surrounding population. Maddening. Thanks.

Outstanding state park on the north shore of Long Island, near Huntington. They have miles and miles of paved, and also dirt/gravel trails. You can also walk right to the beach and dip your feet in the water. There is also a small café on site. Would highly recommend this park to anyone visiting the area.

Caumsett is a great state park for a bike ride or walk or just relaxing. Found a bunch of great mountain bike trails off the main trails. No trails are marked so hard to find.

Beautiful place to explore, we stayed along the paved path but look forward to going into the wooded area. The beach area is beautiful with views of Connecticut, however there's a bit of beach erosion.Restrooms: Well maintained with AC!
