“Hey everybody, Welcome to Long Beach and this wonderful little mom-and-pop Lafayette Liquors. Walking inside this little neighborhood liquor store I was immediately impressed by the vastness and depth of the wine selection here. This little store is exactly the type of hidden Jewel that I love to find. These little locally owned places have all sorts of rare and long since sold out vintages waiting in their back rooms. Walking inside I could see that there were thousands of bottles of wine in this little store. You couldn't NOT find what you were looking for. and the folks here were really so nice helping me and answering my questions. Not only was I able to easily find my favorite Ruffino Reserva Gold Label Chianti, still wrapped in Ruffino's emblem embossed tissue paper. But unwrapping it I happily discovered it was a sweet vintage 2010. @$43..A wonderful rare find indeed. This vintage and label will stand up next to the finest of Wines in its category. This will make a most fitting toast to enjoy with my wife and moon cakes. I thought it was adorable that the little place was husband and wife owned and I loved seeing them working here together. I really prefer to support local family-owned businesses exactly like this place. I would certainly prefer to pay a few dollars more here then patronize the big box bullies. So ..take the train & phone in your orders as you're on the way.. or park in the Free parking Rite Aid shopping center across the street and just walk across. And what's not to love?? A liquor store that DELIVERS ..in case you're running low at your party I'll be back again real soon as it's a convenient little spot I know that I'll be greeted with a smile and I'll always get what I need. See you again.”
“This is a great local shopn and where I come to stock up. They have a great selection as it's MUCH bigger than it looks from the outside. The people are lovely and helpful. Have found some great new finds in this store and will keep coming back. Check this place out before going anywhere else.”
