Dr. Saslou didn’t just treat our 14-year-old Yorkie, Gizmo he treated him like he was his own. When we first brought Gizmo in, he wasn’t doing well at all. Dr. Saslou took the time to educate us, guide us, and create a thoughtful plan that felt personal, not rushed or cookie-cutter. We followed his suggestions closely, and one month later at our follow-up, Gizmo was all in the green thriving, full of life, and surrounded by positivity.
This place is the opposite of a factory. It’s heart, soul, and real connection. My mom brings her cat here, my nephew brings his pets here, and now Dr. Saslou and the team are officially our family’s doctor. Gizmo will never forget them and neither will we. We will see you for the next check up!

“We find it quite challenging to adequately describe how grateful we are that Dr. Kleminger and staff, in particular Vet Tech Sydney took care of our geriatric cat Cassius. Cassius was two months old when he first saw Dr. Kleminger and he lived to the ripe old age of 19 largely in part to the exceptional care, guidance and love we received at Companions. Cassius was a strong, fighter who endured, multiple medical emergencies where we thought he might die. All through these crisis Dr. Kleminger and Sydney were there for us. We had to administer fluids and medications at home which Sydney came to our house to teach us every week for months until we learned to do it ourselves. Cassius hated the carrier, and going to the vet, however, he immediately calmed down when Dr. Kleminger would pet him and talk to him. He would fall right asleep when Sydney would hold him on his back like a baby. It was absolutely magical. We love all of the staff at Companions. The front desk staff are loving and compassionate. Thank You, thank you for all being who you are. We highly recommend Companions.”

“These are truly some of the kindest and most caring people you’ll ever meet! Dr. Sandra Popa came highly recommended by a friend, and I now understand why. Despite being fully booked for the day, they managed to squeeze us in the same day (at 5pm!) when my grandma’s senior cat started straining in the litter box and peeing a little blood. The front desk here was so compassionate and accommodating - they understood it was urgent, while all other vets told us the earliest they could get us in was the next morning.
Dr. Popa was beyond amazing and patient. She took her time to ask questions, go over the medical history, and explain everything clearly without ever rushing. You can just tell she loves animals and puts her heart into her work. Her compassion and calm demeanor instantly put me at ease.
Their prices are also very fair, which says a lot about their values. All other places I called wanted to charge an astronomical amount. You can tell they really care about helping pets more than anything else. I’m so grateful we found Dr. Popa and her wonderful team. They truly go above and beyond, and we’ll be clients for life!!”
“Dr. Wallach is truly the vet everyone needs. He takes his time and speaks to you before and after seeing your pet and goes over diagnosis and prognosis in so much detail. I've transferred care from another vet in the area and have never looked back since! My dog Coco was in pain due to unknown causes and Dr. Wallach has been wonderful. “My cat, Zephyr, and I are grateful beyond words!!!!! I recently moved back to NY and didn't have a regular vet setup yet when my cat required emergency dental extractions. Every other vet I called (I called many!) required multiple, costly pre-procedure visits before they would do any dental procedures. My cat was in pain with an active infection in his mouth and this was unacceptable!! Not only was Crawford Animal Hospital the most affordable, but I was able to walk in without an appointment and have his procedure done on the same day!! Dr. Josh was incredibly compassionate towards my cat's needs and my financial situation, and the staff were all so professional, friendly, and clearly love animals. The procedure itself went well and I was able to take my cat home on the same day. He recovered quickly that evening and was 100% by the following morning. I waited a couple of days to post this review in case of any adverse reactions, but I'm happy to report that were none!! Thank you so much Dr. Josh and team for your excellent veterinary care!!!”

“Our neighbor’s cat was sick and she couldn’t afford her in-home vet to come check him. My wife called Bellmore Vet (our vet) and they were able to squeeze him in the next morning. Unfortunately the cat had to be euthanized, but the nice people at Bellmore veterinary hospital worked to minimize the financial and emotional pain on our neighbor. She was very grateful for all of their help. Love this vet. So glad we switched several years ago.”

“We took one of our cats to see Dr. Halpern after AMC Hospital in the city diagnosed her with cancer. Our cat Annie has lymphoma cancer and we wanted a second opinion on how to deal with the situation. After receiving the bad news, it's beyond sadness, but we want to provide as much care and love as possible for the sick cat. Dr. Halpern is a gentle professional animal doctor who understands my feelings and how sad I am now. Annie's and my quality of life also count in this. He wanted to know how much we would invest to keep Annie alive. On my first visit, I focused on Annie and paid little attention to the conversation. Hubby did most of the talking with the doctor. Tyler, Dr. Halper's assistant at the time, was a big help. He took care of Annie from the moment he took her into the room, removed her from the carrier, held her for Dr. Halper to examine, and then put her back safely into her carrier. Both Doctor and assistant gave Annie a nice pet. We had another assistant, Kiara(?) the second time we brought Annie here, and she, too, handled Annie with so much compassion. This place offers a lot of love and affordable bills. The big hospital, AMC in the city offers a lot of fees with less compassion. It was a pleasure meeting Dr. Halpern, his assistant, and the entire staff at Quality Veterinary. My life was turned upside down when I heard the bad news about Annie, but I have slowly recovered since then. His suggestion to give Annie daily IV fluid on top of daily medication is one of the best ideas! AMC only offers the med. Although Annie doesn't have much time left, she is now back doing her routine as she was living before the hospital visit. We're providing her with so much love and joy and we can't thank Dr. Halpern and this place enough. I highly recommend Dr. Halpern and the place to examine your furry babies! Thank you!”

“Dr. Jonathan May has been treating my cat for a urinary track infection. Dr. May is an outstanding doctor, he’s very compassionate, not only does he care about animals but he also cares about his clients, he goes above and beyond explaining what treatment needs to be done and explains everything in simple terms so that you don’t have to be a doctor to understand. I would highly recommend Dr. May for anyone that needs vet care.”

“All Creatures has saved our babies in very scary situations. They have done so with such kindness, empathy, and gentleness. They are super thorough and accommodating. While our cat was hospitalized we were able to visit him daily and they provided us with extensive updates on his care, morning noon and night. We're so lucky to have found them.”
