“Very good hotel. 2 mins walking from metro which directly connected to central manhattan and 10-15 mins drive from manhattan. Staffs were so welcoming especially lady at front desk and gentleman uncle was so kind to tell us in and around places to eat. Room was small but still it’s New York.”
“Comfortable rooms in a quieter part of the city. Pros, good pillows 24 hour coffee/tea bar. Cons, occasional train passing and some odd architectural choices. For a NYC hotel that's a pretty decent choice.”

“Our stay at Ravel Hotel was perfect! The room was clean, spacious, and had a cute little balcony with a great view of the Queensboro Bridge. The location is ideal for catching the subway and traveling to different boroughs. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy --- shoutout to Khalil for making check-in smooth and for answering all of our questions! We also really appreciated that they held our luggage after checkout so we could explore the city a bit more before out flight.”

“Good quality/price ratio. Clean, modern hotel with spacious rooms. Good products in the shower (shampoo, conditioner, soap). Friendly staff. The location is excellent, as it is close to a metro station. I was worried reading some reviews about the noise of the train below, but the room is definitely soundproofed, and the noise was barely noticeable (we were on the 10th floor). There is a coffee machine in the room with free refill of capsules (to be asked at reception). There are many bars and supermarkets in the area. Daily room cleaning. The thing I liked most were the bed and pillows: VERY COMFORTABLE! Advise.”
“Excellent considering the price range. (As of 2015, about 90,000 won per night)
Recommended for student travelers like me who have no money and are unable to find accommodation in Manhattan.
As it is a 3-star hotel, all factors including room condition and distance from central New York are average, but the biggest advantage is that the hotel provides its own pick-up service to the subway station.
(As of 2015, I don’t know if this is still the case)
The counter staff also kindly responded to my request (in brief English) for a refund of one night's lodging fee due to the schedule being shortened by one day. The room was spacious and the bed was soft.
There isn't much to see around the hotel, but it's not bad if you're a first-time visitor to the United States and want to take a walk around the ordinary American residential streets of Long Island, a bit far away from the hustle and bustle that comes to mind when you think of New York (Manhattan, to be exact).
The hotel breakfast consists of a bagel, scrambled eggs, cereal, a few donuts, and coffee.
It's not bad if you eat a light breakfast, but I regretted it after leaving because it would have been better if I had taken a morning walk and bought something from a nearby local deli.”
“Hotel Nirvana is clean and well structured over 9 floors. We found the acoustics good, no particular noise. The rooms are OK for New York, the standard is small. Housekeeping is done with care every day.Breakfast is reasonable but for us it lacks either jam or a spread. We paid $450 for 7 nights in Queens just 3 stops from downtown Manhattan. In short, I recommend this hotel for all these reasons.A “like” for my Google Review, thank you and Enjoy!??Rooms: The rooms are spacious, the bed but also the storage closets.”
“The room was fine. We were able to open a window a few inches which was nice. Be aware that they have a resort fee and are not willing to waive or decrease it. Location good for access to Astoria, LIC, Sunnyside, Woodside. Would stay there again.”
“Stayed at this hotel years ago during a big trip. I was so scared as I was completely alone and it was my first time travelling from another country. They went above and beyond to reassure me and despite being a young lady on my own I felt so safe and taken care of. It'd probably be a very long review if I left all the info but I'd highly recommend this place for any first time travellers”
“The only bad thing was that we stayed for 10 days and they never gave us the breakfast that they offer on their website, supposedly due to the pandemic but in NY no one wears a mask or anything anymore, everywhere the world went on normally, their excuse for not giving us the breakfast was very silly from there on out it's a good place to stay”

“Good room, comfortable beds; but the hall was a little dirty and I needed more variety of fruits at breakfast, very good location. ?
Rooms: Very comfortable and clean, good lighting
Nearby activities: Area of many shopping centers, excellent location”
“Very centrally located on Jackson Ave in LIC, but much quieter than directly in Manhattan. Several metro stations and bus stops are within walking distance (e.g. only 3 stops to 5th Ave) and food trucks, restaurants, a small food hall, cafes, etc. are also in the immediate vicinity.
The aloft Hotel belongs to the Mariott Group and is stylishly/modernly furnished.
The staff is very friendly and service-oriented. The rooms are nicely decorated and housekeeping is done daily. An absolute highlight is of course the roof terrace!
For those who like it quiet: There were no loud parties or anything like that during our stay in October.
We would definitely stay here again and definitely recommend the hotel!
Rooms: We had a room upgrade so we were accommodated in a double room with a balcony. The balcony faced the back yard, but that was fine for us. Even having a balcony in New York is a luxury. The double room was large enough for 2 people, had a comfortable double bed, a double-door wardrobe and a separate bathroom with shower.
In addition, the safe could be used free of charge and - in case it was important to someone - there was also an ironing station in the room. The rooms were cleaned daily.
Nearby activities: Everything can be easily reached on foot and/or by metro. Top location!
Safety: Top location of the hotel. We never felt unsafe either in or outside the hotel.
Walkability: Restaurants, bars, food trucks, a food hall, a Target, etc. are all in the immediate vicinity.
A total of 3 metro stations are within walking distance (less than 5 minutes), of which around 6 metro lines run to/through Manhattan.
It takes about 45 minutes to get to JFK by Metro and AirTrain.
Food and drinks: We only ate outside, but you could also have breakfast in the hotel and there was an on-site bar.”
