“Went here with my friend for a day out. We had so much fun building our terrariums!! We completely lost track of time because next thing we know, it's past closing time haha. But Rachel was so nice about it! She was extremely helpful during the ENTIRE process and helped us complete our terrariums even after closing. We didn't feel rushed at all.
Truly one of the best experiences I've had, doing anything ever. It brought me so much joy. Will definitely be coming back!”

“As soon as you walk into this shop you feel like you are in a special place. Helen has created a space that allows her imagination and creativity to shine. Her flowers are fresh and beautiful and she arranges them with an editorial eye. Flowers are her passion and it shows. I had a bouquet made for my friend and she adored them. I also had a topiary made with dried flowers and it is a show stopper. I will not go anywhere but Manhasset Florist and Beyond. I highly recommend Helen and her expertise.”
“Wow! this place the energy is so amazing from the brothers to the workers they’re so kind and knowledgeable with what they’re selling the plants is so fresh and lively anything you looking for from soil to plants inside and outside durable pots and all essentials needed they got it. My husband and I always go their every saturday and purchase their plants or just browse looking for a certain plant, and they always got it because they got quality and a variety.

“I have used Flowers by Peter multiple times and they are fantastic! They’re excellent at communicating if they don’t have something and their delivery is prompt and on time. I much rather use a local company than a 1-800 company. Shopping at the local businesses is much better. Much better customer service and value for the dollar, as opposed to a customer service representative in the Philippines with the large factory companies.

“I visited this nursery for the first time today after it was recommended to me by Google during my search for unusual-colored anthuriums. According to their website, they had the pink, purple, and orange varieties I was looking for - so I decided to check it out. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised. The nursery is well-maintained and neatly organized. They carry a wide range of plants and everything a gardening enthusiast might need: tools, pots, seeds, wind chimes, potting soil, fertilizers, and more. The plant displays are arranged inside and outside, as well as at the back of the nursery, making the space visually inviting even from a distance. One feature I particularly appreciated was their floral gift section. They offer flower wrapping services and can add plush toys, balloons, and ribbons to turn your purchase into a beautifully packaged gift. This is a great option for anyone looking to pick up a thoughtful, ready-to-give present. That said, there were a few drawbacks. I noticed that some plants were overpriced, and a few were of lesser quality compared to similar ones I’ve seen elsewhere. Some plants lacked price tags, which made browsing a bit inconvenient. Also, the floor was quite wet during my visit, and two staff members were pushing water across the floor - almost in my direction - which wasn’t ideal.
Parking was another issue. I had to drive a bit further to find a spot. Still, the staff was generally helpful. One associate named Nick stood out - he not only gave me a discount on one of the plants but also took the time to chat about anthuriums and even recommended another nursery that might carry the specific colors I was after.
In conclusion, despite a few minor inconveniences, I had a positive experience and would recommend this nursery to fellow plant lovers and gardening enthusiasts. It’s worth a visit for their variety and helpful staff.”

“Zaino's is part of our family holiday tradition. For the last 7 years, my wife and I have bought our Christmas tree at Zaino's. The trees are healthy and beautiful. The gentlemen who put them atop the vehicle are all gentlemen. They are respectful and informative on making your tree survive the holiday season.Also, the owners are very cordial and welcoming. This year (not sure about other years) there was a Santa Claus visiting. He was friendly and engaging with our daughter.See you guys in the summer!”

We started with two different gardens. One garden was too small and raised with a retaining wall and the other was just for roses. It wasn't clean and cohesive and I called Giordanos. I've had bad luck with getting folks to help us with our home so I was kinda nervous but soon my concerns were put to rest.
Nick worked on my garden and wow!!! He's professional, helpful, friendly and really knowledgeable. He could name the plants I already had even if they didn't have flowers yet. He helped me create a design and gave me great ideas. Whenever I had a question he got back to me by the end of the day.
When he came he brought 3 workers who were really friendly and professional. They put together a gorgeous garden full of perennials and reallydid a great job!!!

“I cannot say enough about this place!!! The selection is amazing and Peter and Quinn are extremely knowledgeable and helpful with all things plants and landscaping, indoors and out! The property continues to receive upgrades and there is a fire pit and water feature area where you can just sit and relax in a natural environment. “They had a beautiful setup for Santa inside with a beautiful gazebo. Best thing no line! No appointment and its free! Perfect took my 12 day old newborn here in hopes to avoid mall crowds and it was perfect! Santa thoroughly enjoyed her as well looking forward to coming back as well!”
“It was horrible experience, I called before I drove to Oceanside & asked about a certain plant .I didn’t want a flat of 50 & I was told they had flats of 25 or 36 great & when I arrived they only had flats of 50 for $49.99. I tried to find someone to talk to, finally a women came out & told me that she was the one who I spoke with & that I misunderstood, I told her no I’m very clear. I asked for the name of her supervisor & she told me look it up on the website. & then I ‘m going to escort you out. I found someone else who thought he was going to intimidate me. I left in desperation & will never go back. My advise go to HICKS in Westbury, this would never have happened.”

“I gave it 5 stars because my Dad loves it here. He loves his garden but as for customer service, it’s like you are in a different world and not in a mix queens neighborhood.
Not friendly to non whites. That’s all I will say about that. They will answer your question but it is always with a “oh them” glance.

“Contrary to many opinions here, I've sincerely never had a problem with this location. I am in the middle of a renovation and frequently come here with my general contractor. We're usually prepared with measurements, narrow down our shopping list by looking online at what's in stock, and don't hold up the clerk by asking many questions. The types of services that I use are: 1. installation services (allow yourself some time), 2. general store purchase, 3. store purchase with assistance getting heavy things down from shelves or other types of assistance, 4. home delivery and online purchases, 5. Pro Services (with my contractor). Go in, pick up what you need, pay, then leave. Just like any other store.”
