“I don’t know where they found this angel, but this shop is definitely making miracles like the reviews say. I was driving my car at 7:30pm and it sounded like I had a flat. I stopped my car twice and saw no flat. The noise got worse and I started to panic. I googled mechanic and this shop came up as being open til 8pm. I thought this is definitely not real. With my hope in one hand and a prayer in the next, I drove there. I don’t even know if I parked the car before I jumped out and told the mechanic my car is broken and I can’t see how. He drops everything and immediately looks at my car and test drives it. All my rare wheel bolts were gone except one. I could have died! He was so kind and empathetic. He waited for my Lyft to come for me well beyond 8pm. You cannot ask for a better human experience and a kinder mechanic! My car less, will miss work, but feel calm knowing he has my back!”

“Really nice gas station and store. Has two vacuum stations, adequate parking, and an even tables with umbrellas to sit and eat. Haven’t tried any of their food items but they have a variety of different things from looking at the menu, including smoothies and fresh juices. Came in one day after missing my exit and ending up here. Have been here 2 more times since. Me and my kids love slushies and they are the only gas station near by that has four different kind to choose from all taste great too. My last visit before this one I was double charged for two items. The cashier charged me for two items that my son was purchasing and still charged my son for the same two items. I did not realize until I had already gotten to another store, very strange. Anyway I came back some time later and then manger was very nice took my name and information and said she would look into it.”

“Was driving from CT to PA for the Thanksgiving holiday to visit family, and had had some work done on my car before our road trip began. On our drive we started hearing a concerning noise coming from where I had just got work done. Called a couple of places in town, as we were over two hours from home and never been in this area and everyone was busy and couldn't take a look, Owen's was the only place that said they could take a look, even knowing we've never been a customer before. We headed over and one of their guys took a look at what was going on. He assured us we were safe to continue our trip. I couldn't begin to express my gratitude for them taking the time despite being busy to check everything out to make sure we could safely make it to Thanksgiving.”

“I realized my inspection was past due. I called around everywhere on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend, and everyone said no. I am going back to work in NYC Tuesday morning, where I have to park on the street. I called and they said, “Being it in in 20 minutes.” While there, they were all so friendly; I felt like I been there customer for years. Really great services, great people, and definitely great work ethic!”

“A great resource whilst traveling the 684 corridor. Ordered online -several sandwiches to go. Arrived earlier than anticipated - they were all packed up in appropriate wrappings nicely and ready to go. Under 30 second transactions in theses COVID times are much appreciated! In and out in seconds. Considering how many people were there milling about , it's apparent that this place is a well oiled machine. The veggie sandwich was flavorful and bursting. Chicken souvlaki was great with the tzatziki sauce. Chicken salad good, and chicken Caesar wrap ,delish. The HUMONGOUS chocolate chip cookies are more like mini cakes. Got them still warm. Yum.”

“This is the best gas station in Mahopac. The family that runs this location are such great people. Always business with a smile and caring words. The staff remember regular customers and treat you like you're family. I don't care if they became the most expensive gas station in town, I would still go there just for the reasons I listed above. Humanity over saving a dollar any day!”

“I love this gas station I mainly walk here to get snacks or some lunch and it's great never had to wait for line, always satisfied with what I got, price is a little high on stuff but gas stations always are. If supermarket was closer then I wouldn't be at a gas station.”
