They follow you around and watch you like a hawk when you’re shopping, it makes you feel very uncomfortable. They only do it if you’re black. All of that for minimum wage pay. I filed a report against the security guard for following my 5 year old around.

If i could give a zero i would. My friend and i were shopping and at the checkout an employee came up to us and in a very hostile tone got in my friends face ( back up cause your breath is hot) and said “have you shopped here before? you know there’s cameras, did you or did you not put the christmas bag in your bag.” It was a gift i had received and asked my friend to hold in her bag way before even entering the store. how stupid do you have to be to think we had time to wrap the contents of the bag in wrapping paper and “steal” a bag to put the things in WHEN THE BAG NEVER CAME OUT of my friends purse. Please do better at training your employees on how to approach customers. My friend and I go often and is honestly very offended. Best believe we will never be here again. And after reading some reviews, it seems the staff there racially profiles.

Yesterday's super rude and racist cashier told her that she didn't understand English and she got upset, bad attitude, and she rated herself a 9 when honestly she didn't even deserve a 0! I will absolutely never return to this store!

Large selection. Generally clean. Everyone found something to tickle their fancy. Prices were pretty reasonable considering the location.

I love five below, but the employees at the 6th avenue location are the worst. They make me so uncomfortable. Everytime I go in there, someone is watching me, like I'm going to steal.
The last time I was there, on June 19th, 20204, a white female manager with long, brownish hair, in jeans and a t-shirt LITERALLY followed my every move. She ruined my shopping experience and took the joy from it.
Lady, whoever you are, DO BETTER.
The goood news is, I enjoy the other locations. Never have a problem. But this location needs a new team of rehires. And they don't need to follow people around.

I had a very unpleasant experience here. I was in the lobby making a very important medical phone call and one of the female clerks in an orange T-shirt told me to leave abruptly because I couldn’t sit there. She could’ve been more polite or more patient with me to finish the call in 2 minutes but instead she was extremely rude and disrespectful. Never going to this location again.
