Just spent an hour trying to cash a check because their mobile app doesn’t work properly most of the time. So the teller who was extremely rude and incompetent told me it can’t be cashed because I wrote mobile deposit on the back!!! Seriously so now the check is worthless because their app isn’t working and their teller is even less reliable than their app! Took and hour for management to figure out that the word “mobile” could be crossed out! This is seriously and positively completely unprofessional, inappropriate and stupid! Not even an apology from this inept, rude teller! She never looked at me or even spoke to me! I have several accounts with Jovia which I will be closing as soon possible! Avoid this branch, never had this issue in their other branches. 0 stars! Horrible way to do business or treat a human being, let alone a customer!

Came in for something simple “acting manager” her words not mine Meghan was loud and pretty obnoxious. I don’t know how the other people are but I wouldn’t go back to this location.

Mostly a very fine banking system. However, one (or more) of your branch managers is very officious and condescending. She puts me off when I need to do some business. I will try to avoid the branch she manages but it is a convenient one.

Pleasant people. A bit a long wait but worth it, they actually have people that you can sit down and talk to, not like other banks where you have to conduct your business atvthe counter in front of other clients.

We opened our account years ago, back when this institution was called NEFCU. We were tired of the endless "nickle & dime" fees so common with the large banks, and sought relief with a Credit Union. Everything was great, at first. But they slowly started to add these same fees, and after changing their name to Jovia became downright unrecognizable. The last straw was trying to deposit a government check which was made out to both myself and my wife. However, the account for some reason only had my name on it. They refused to allow the deposit. Without going into myriad details, suffice to say that in the past 2 years there have been several other incidents where the tellers were less than helpful. I've been banking for more than a few decades and understand the banking industry has rules, but the commercial banks seem to employ a more common sense approach to their customers. The great customer service we had enjoyed at NEFCU is a thing of the past at Jovia. We've gone back to the large, national commercial bank. They simply treat us with more respect.

This is one of the worst banks I’ve ever belong to they can never keep the ATM machine outside working they don’t maintain it did too lazy to take the money out of it and it’s always on the fritz I mean I don’t work they put new signs new name for for what it doesn’t make any sense I don’t even Rate this bank one star awful service

I don't know who thought this through but the conversion from Nassau Educators Federal Credit Union into Jovia seems laughable to me. I understand that they said they out grew the name of Nassau Educators but this new name of Jovia and the image they are creating seems as if they are attempting to cater to a circus. Their new image seems very childish and I can't seem to take this bank serious anymore.
