“I came looking for skates. As a woman getting up there in age, I only skate recreationally a couple of times a year, and had no idea which type of skate to get. The sales person was extremely helpful and patient, advising me on sizing, styles, fit etc., and letting me try on multiple pairs before finding EXACTLY what I needed -- a used pair of women's figure skates, in great condition, and a very comfortable fit. Oh, and for a great price, too!

“The people here are great, especially Vinny! Went in yesterday with my young daughter who was unfortunately having a tough time and emotional unless I was holding her. Vinny was beyond patient as I was helping her calm down and helped me get the pair of shoes I wanted and was smiling and friendly the whole time. Haven’t had as good of an experience from a salesman in a store in a long, long time. (He did beat me today in a half marathon though so minus 5% haha)”
“This was so much fun! Of note, it is located inside the market and there is plenty of parking in the front or back. We were a group of 9 ages 9-60+ and did the Nerf games. Our instructor was very safety conscious and also was great at explaining the different games and guiding us along. We changed up the games approximately every 10min and also had extra break time (which you don't think you need but then realize how hot and sweaty you are from running around so much). We brought snacks and drinks but there are drink vending machines available. We were able to connect our music via Bluetooth and had it playing in the background. Everyone had a great time! We look forward to coming back!”

“I have been playing tennis for over 25 years and just recently got back in the game. For years, I shopped other large sporting good stores that sold everything from fishing poles, to tennis shoes. When I walked into Bill's Top Spin store, I had no idea how much it would change my tennis game. Bill sized my feet correctly and I fit into the BEST pair of tennis shoes I have EVER fit in - in my LIFE. In fact, I now wear them off the court as they are just my regular walk around shoes (KSwiss Widefit!). Bill has helped me purchase a new racket and even told me NOT to buy a racket when he knew a newer version was coming out a few months away. “Always a pleasurable shopping experience at this store. Attractive, clean, well-organized. Helpful floor staff, if you need assistance, but no sales pressure -- shop at your own pace. Courteous help at check-out. Comfortable seating, in center of store, for try-on. Good selection for women, men, and children, with top, popular name brands. I especially like the BOGO, for 1/2 price off the second pair, on the holiday weekends. An added bonus is good parking in the (attractive) parking lot, with beautiful trees and landscaping. Other good stores, like Trader Joes, in this complex, too.”

“I had placed an order online to Manhattan. I misread and thought it was one day shipping. It wasn’t. I was a little upset. I forget the man I spoke to regarding my order, but he was so nice and understanding and even got my order out in two days. The customer service alone was fantastic.
I’m a native Long Islander and avid darts player living in NYC the past few years. I never knew about this store. I’ll be happy to support and buy from them again on the fact of how nice that guy was on the phone with me when I was frustrated.”

“I bought a pair of hockey skates at one of the big name hockey stores, but when I noticed the boots were cracked after a year they just shrugged, so I took them to Andy Cozzi to see if he could at least fix a torn eyelet. He could have sold me a new pair of pricey skates on the spot, but instead he repaired the eyelet for free and haggled with the manufacturer for months to get the skates not only replaced but upgraded. That personal touch and extra effort is the difference between a small craftsman and a big faceless corporation. Instead of making a quick buck Andy got a customer for life... even sharpened the new runners and refused to charge me. Great experience!”
