“One of my favorite stores to shop. Fantastic close out prices on quality merchandise. I LOVE the prices on the books!! Great grocery items at super affordable prices...plenty of brand names. I always look forward to the rotation of seasonal items. The toy isles have a great selection of toys ...I love the variety of stem kits and educational toys, as well as the variety of all the popular character toys. The game and puzzle variety is great. The housewares isles have lots of trendy, products s I wouldn't otherwise buy anyplace else, because of the prices. The area rug and flooring section that expanded within the last year is great. All around fantastic store for affordability, gifts, necessities and more!”
“I'm usually able to find what I'm looking for, but they need to change their name as they are more like a ' dollar general'...ad their stuff is no longer a dollar and you have to be careful as they use two different methods to price items.”

It's a little smaller than some of the ones in malls, but the staff are some of the friendliest and most helpful people I've ever spoken with.It's nice to grab a charger or a snack or a graphic t-shirt without having to deal with going into Walmart or Target.Very convenient location!Absolutely recommend shopping here!!”
“I love DG. There are 4 Dollar Generals near me. I have only been to the one in Broadalbin a few times. However, I shop at Mayfield and Gloversvilles Dollar Generals, EVERY DAY. No joking. It's convenient, prices are excellent, and it has many products that I like to use at a acceptable cost. Mayfield and Gloversvilles North Main Street stores, I pretty much know the entire staff by name. As soon as I walk in, I am welcomed and we joke, laugh, and have pleasant conversation. Absolutely LOVE these stores â¤ï¸”

“Family Dollar store #1870 in Gloversville is a staple for thousands in the area. The store recently had a major renovation complete with a new customer service and management crew and WOW you can really tell the difference! They are friendly, helpful and fast! The store is well kept, orderly and very clean! I love coming to this store over competitors!”
