“Went to Job Lot in Centereach looking for an item in the flyer-searched quite a while until I went up to store employee (JOE). He stopped what he was doing & walked around the whole store until we found what I was looking for (BTW, found out he was store manager!!) Bought 4 of the travel/beach carryalls! Joe was patient, understanding, kind. Never had such a pleasant experience EVER in my many years of shopping in a store (I am 75). Thank YOU Joe again~~~”

“It's 5 below they have all the stuff you need from the dollar store just higher quality not that it's life changing but definitely worth a visit we go here often. They carry alot of Japanese candy and soda. The tech options here (chargers etc) is good for the price. Dont expect the highest quality. Lower your expectations and you won't be disappointed”

This store has everything seriously go check it out they take debit card credit cards and they get very busy. “I've been shopping at this dollar 💵💰 tree for years and will continue to shop at this location and the one in East Patchogue by CVS pharmacy. I just saw on Facebook that this store was robbed on Sunday.Be sure to show all camera and video footage to the Suffolk police 🚓🚨 and press charges that's the only way these people will learn. Had I been at this store 🏬 🛒🛍 when it happened I would of had the entire parking 🅿 lot filled with police cars not around me you don't. I just called Suffolk police for family dollar in June of this year for shoplifting. I hope the employees don't quit and don't be scared they will be caught.”

“This dollar store was neat and organized. Had what I was looking for and they have many craft supplies! I picked up beads and a cute trinket tray for only a couple of bucks. Went to target and they sold the exact same beads for quadruple the price. Nice service aswell, only thing is the long lines. Preferably come at 6-8 pm cause I went on Saturday at 2 and it was very busy.”

I went shopping at five below in East Setuaket. Around 6pm on October 3, 2024, the was a man Asssociate and a Manager who both were very professional and friendly.The Manager helped me scan my items and so so caring and had great communication skills.Both Associates are a true asset to your company.I was telling her about my gift card I got today during my Chemotherapy treatment at the cancer center.
The manager is a real caring compassion person.I Love Five Below store especially this store.

“I purchased an item online and the order was totally screwed up, from the shipping address to the actual content in the box. I called & was told to go to a store & have the manager call their customer service #. I went into this store (Montauk Highway, Shirley, NY) & explained the situation to Coleen, the manager on duty. She called CS, got my refund squared away. BUT on top of that, she searched the SKU of the item that I originally ordered & found it in the stockroom. She was as excited about that as I was! So I was able to get what I wanted AND saved on shipping! SO A BIG SHOUT OUT TO COLEEN AT THE MONTAUK HIGHWAY. SHIRLEY STORE!! YOU ROCK!!!!”

“Only thing is, why would I need to ask my cashier is they have change to provide cash back if their system ask ME if I need cash back? The cashier said I’m supposed to ask if they have change FIRST. Why is that my responsibility if the cashing out system both provides this service AND asks ME as a prompt? Is this how the employees are trained or should there be a sign requesting that customers inform their cashier if they need cash back? Other than that the young lady and her friend (coworker?) were very nice”

“Let me start by saying we LOVE this location at night. The staff is amazing. (Day time..ehh smells like cigarettes really bad so we wait til night)
But on Saturday night my 7yr old daughter found an iPhone in the parking lot. It was dead so we charged it for a minute in the car to make sure it had enough juice to be tagged. About 3 minutes after turning it in to the cashier, the owner walks in. My kid watched from 10 feet away as the cashier gave him the phone and recieved an extremely over the top tha k you (while making eye contact with my daughter). She was obviously a little saddened she didn't get a shout out obviously. Then 30 seconds later guy comes back in and loudly thanks the cashier again while he proceeded to give her a cash reward..at checkout the girl acted like nothing happened and was practically silent..it wasn't about the money AT ALL. But giving honor and credit where it's due. My daughter is probably going to remember that forever”
