“My sister and I had gold jewelry to sell. I researched how to go about it, how much the items were worth and the best places to sell it. After my research and reading of reviews I chose Whitman. David sat with us explained the process and was completely transparent during the process. He patiently answered all of our questions. I knew what my jewelry was worth and what I should expect to be paid. David was professional and honest, he paid us more than I had optimistically expected! Bravo to this small business it’s obvious why the store always has lots of customers. We surely will be back to purchase future jewelry items.”
“Customer service was exceptional! Came in to sell my iPhone, they were respectful, quick, and completed my sale without any complications. Will definitely be back for sales/purchases in the future.”

“I had a positive experience at this pawn shop. The staff was friendly, professional, and took the time to explain the value of my items without making me feel rushed. The store was clean and well organized, and the buying and selling process was straightforward. They offered a fair price, and I appreciated their honesty and transparency throughout the transaction. Whether you're looking to pawn, sell, or browse for deals, this is a shop that's worth checking out. I would definitely return and recommend it to others.”
“I highly recommend bringing your coins here. Jeff the owner is efficient, professional and honest. I took my coins to other coin dealers to compare the money he was offering me for the coins. I went to him twice and he beat competitors by up to 20 percent”

“Walked in, greeted professionally and no nonsense straight to business which is what I respect. They carefully handled and checked everything and explained to me the process.
If selling gold I recommend this spot or trying to haggle over at the tricounty.”

“had an amazing experience at Major Pawn in Lindenhurst and wanted to take the time to share how professional and helpful they were throughout the entire process. I had the pleasure of dealing with Joe, who truly went above and beyond answering all of my questions regarding my diamonds and gold.
I’ve been all over Long Island checking prices and speaking with different places, and without a doubt Joe offered me the best prices and the most honest information. What really stood out was how educated and knowledgeable he was. He took the time to explain everything clearly, never rushed me, and made me feel comfortable every step of the way.
It’s hard to find businesses these days that are both fair and trustworthy, but Major Pawn exceeded my expectations. Joe was professional, patient, respectful, and genuinely a pleasure to do business with. You can tell he truly cares about helping his customers and making sure they leave satisfied.
If you’re looking to sell gold, diamonds, jewelry, or just want honest guidance from someone who knows the business inside and out, I highly recommend stopping by Major Pawn in Lindenhurst and asking for Joe. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you again for such a great experience!”
