“It is a small dollar bargain store. Nonetheless, it packs in a favorable array of items according to season. All of it suitably arranged in clean and orderly store. There is convenient parking and the sales clerk, she's friendly and polite.”

They have a pretty big selection! They also have cute seasonal things and even a small witchy section! I got some graphic tees and some candy! The cashier was very nice as well! Over all, it's a very cute store and definitely worth checking out!”
“Came here to get a laundry basket which they had 1 to choose from. It was Sterilite brand & felt sturdy, it only came in one color, turquoise which was fine. However the top one was very dusty which I unfortunately happened to notice on a number of things in the store, that is, being dusty or dirty. I do also understand the times we are living in and don't expect everything in the store to be spotless. And as precautionary measures we should be disinfecting/cleaning the items we bring into our homesregardless Aside from that little sidenote the cashier was friendly and I found other things I needed. Sorry for such a long review but just being thorough.”
“Usually when I go I always have to buy the floor model because they never have what I want in stock. (My fault I guess or bad timing) they deliver and set up and they are awesome who I used last time for my king size bed. Very helpful when they bring the furniture to the car to load it up if you can’t afford the delivery and set up and I always give a tip. :)”

“I have been to other locations, usually with my best friend and kids. I feel it is mostly a kids store. There is so many items, it could be overwhelming. Lots of gadgets, games and Candy. Also, shirts and magnets and soda. Thus the amount of items is tremendous. Prices differ--there are $2, $3 and more than $5 actually. Some shirts along the walls are $5.55??? I included two photos of some items and my receipt. If you have any questions about what I bought, please lmk.”

“Very nice branch. Friendly cashier. The best thing is i use a lusti hair product and i could not find it anywhere. I went on amazon and it was $20 a bottle. Well i refused to pay $20 was forced to change hair products. Today i found 6 bottles of my original product in the dollar tree for $1.25 a bottle. I cleared the shelves....im so happy right now with the dollar tree. From now on...i will shop in this Patchogue branch.”
“I cant believe that all of my life I've lived in the area and I just found this dollar tree. They have so many options and the store is neater then most. Management can use a better cashier that has a better attitude, but I'll give her a pass and just assume since it was the end of the night, that she was tired. I will be coming back! “This was my first time coming to the store, so I'm a Big Lots fan, I'm not originally from this area so, I was in luck, so many selections and stocked ? ...but chileee This cashier there was ?'s, she made me feel uncomfortable and I was with my baby as well. She talked so loudly about people's kids stealing and how she will hit them if she catches them... She had the audacity to say if she says hello to a child and they don't respond she will hit/yell at them. Needless to say... She was a little off her rocker smh... I will return but get your employees in check because it's best to be Quiet sometimes Especially in the Morning.”
“Not the best looking Family Dollar and not in the best area but I will say almost everyone who works there is great. I forget their names but the girl in the Morning and the girl in the evening also the young gentleman are so polite and nice. I can’t say enough good things about them. They all deserve a raise. “I should have left this review a long time ago since I've been a customer for many years. I will admit it's totally unorganized and understaffed but I love this store. Very convenient to run in and get something you need at the moment . It's simular to a mini market/variety store. Helium balloons are $1.25 and many are already filled and ready to go! Also, a large selection of cards for every occasion and many are 50 cents. Can't beat that! It's located in the Collage Plaza shopping center next to Fine Fare Supermarke and across from Carvel. I will continue to be a loyal customer for as long as I live in the area.”

“I purchased an item online and the order was totally screwed up, from the shipping address to the actual content in the box. I called & was told to go to a store & have the manager call their customer service #. I went into this store (Montauk Highway, Shirley, NY) & explained the situation to Coleen, the manager on duty. She called CS, got my refund squared away. BUT on top of that, she searched the SKU of the item that I originally ordered & found it in the stockroom. She was as excited about that as I was! So I was able to get what I wanted AND saved on shipping! SO A BIG SHOUT OUT TO COLEEN AT THE MONTAUK HIGHWAY. SHIRLEY STORE!! YOU ROCK!!!!”

“There is an employee here named John who usually works the register and he is amazing. He is so friendly and has the most positive attitude. He always asks how your day is going and is pleasant even when some customers are downright rude. There are Dollar Tree stores all over the place but I shop at this one because I always leave feeling better, even if I'm not having a great day (like today - I'm sitting in my car outside the store and felt compelled to write this after such a positive interaction).
