Was charged for a Full Size SUV rental that I wanted but when I arrived they only had a mid-size Ford Edge and acted that was "similar" when it's listed on Ford's website as a mid-size. Then they charged me $169 for fuel when I brought the car back with more gas than it had when they gave it to me and forced me to spend 30 minutes emailing bank statements proving I went to the gas station before hand even though the image I shot of the tank gauge exceeded theirs. Then they said they'd hold onto my money for 5-7 days before returning it to me.

Horrible experience!! They don’t help at all. Customer service is even worst. I’ve never experienced this type of customer service with any other car rental. Don’t go to Hertz.

The worst service! I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT…They charged me 3 days extra knowing that the insurance covered them! Besides, they charged me 180 dollars for the gas tank that was supposedly full and it wasn't!!! They are thiefs.The worst car rental company I have ever met!!!???????

We made a reservation 24 hours before, we arrived at the place and they told us that they do not have the vehicle in which we reserved that they needed 24 hours to look for them and the solution is to give us another vehicle with double the price, without giving us any other option.

This place sucks and on top of that it’s ghetto there’s a gentleman that decided to try to help me and his actions was so disgusting is like if I was in the Bronx Zeus chilling with the animals talking to these people you’re better off getting a car at the Bronx zoo before you come here

ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECEIPT! TRIED TO CHARGE ME FOR full tank GAS @$124.00 ! I rented a car for a month. It came with 1/4 tank gas. When I got home, I saw on the receipt it said 78% full when picked up. After a month, I went by their office to extend the rental by one week. At the time, I told them there was an issue on the receipt where it said I picked up at 78%. But their own pictures they took showed tank 1/4 full. Since they extended the rental for the same car, the new receipt didn't show what level I initially picked it up at. When I finally returned it, they charged me $124 for supposedly bringing it not full. Luckily I looked at the receipt and saw the charge. They told me it said it was picked up with full tank. I told them go look at their own pictures. I even took a video that same day just to make sure they don't con me for this. They acknowledged on the their own pictures that it showed 1/4 so they finally made changes to the final amount. I honestly felt something shady. This was my gut feeling. Whether they did intentionally or not, but I suggest renters ALWAYS CHECK RECEIPT.P.S. they don't seem to have vaccums at their location so they force their customers to bring the car back 'as it was handed to them'. So make sure you vacuum your carpets before you bring it back or else they say they'll charge you. I had to spend $15 to get a car wash which included vacuuming the carpets at the nearby car wash. I never had to do with when I rent from the airport location. So just an FYI.Two stars for trying to charge me for gas which I felt was borderline shady. Not renting from there again.

Non serious customer service, reserved car through Expedia but they said you have to reserve directly from our site otherwise we don’t have car available right now what you reserved.

Discount rental of a Electric VehicleWe were given a key to a $150k electric car and very little instruction. It was maxed at only accepting 80% charge. The stress of having to keep charging the car was not worth it. It was like having car problems 24/7, you think about if you have enough charge, where to charge, how far until the next spot all the time. Not relaxing by any means. I imagine owning one is very different, but so far our country doesn't have the infrastructure for use as a rental with ease.When something goes wrong and you call for help the Hertz call center doesn't know enough about electric cars to really be able to help you. I was on 3 calls while the alarm blared. Turns out our remote key became deactivated because we hung it on a metal hook while traveling. This led to a host of complications including the alarm going off constantly, and being unable to access the vehicle hundreds of miles away from New York City. Thanks to YouTube we learned how to open the key and get out the actual metal key, which we then dropped in the carpet and could not recover. We also had to teach ourselves how to override the max charge setting.Then the Money Grab: they need to let you know the fee for using the company's car mounted Toll Road device. On a dark rainy night we were returning to the city and decided to just use the pass. I just got the $139 Bill added to my credit card. ??Be forewarned about all of this.

They never have cars. They tell you a certain car is available and when you go there it’s just 1 or 2 tiny electric vehicles. They even have a waiting list which is awful if you got into accident and need a car right away! They will not prioritize you at all.

Amazing customer service, was in and out quickly. Chris was able to pick me up from the auto-shop and drop me off. They patiently waited as I took the time to figure out which vehicle was right for me. They also have electrical cars as well.

I set up the reservation online and was in and out at the counter within a few minutes of being served. Drop off is usually pretty easy too. They were even able to accommodate me when I got mixed up and showed up far too early for the reservation. Staff there is very helpful!

Do NOT get a rental from this Hertz! They charge a 20% tax on your rental which I have never experienced on any rental from any other company before and their “administrative fees” are astronomical on top of the 20% tax. They also charged me toll fees and I never used their EZ Pass. The customer service is ok although they told me they had a certain car and when I showed up to get it they didn’t have it. Go anywhere else and save the money and headache.
