Village Barn Fresh Market is a nice little neighborhood market and the best organic natural supermarket around. Although not a large supermarket, it is spacious, clean, and revamped into a more gourmet destination. It features an on-site butcher cutting the finest meats and works closely with executive chefs and a sushi chef daily. The store has a surprisingly good selection of specialty items, vegan products, and impressive overall produce. It carries everything with plenty to choose from, including great prepared foods, fresh salads, entrees, hot chicken, ribs, a great dessert selection, great cold cuts, deli, and fresh grated parmesan cheese. Staff is pleasant, helpful, friendly, and very polite. Parking is usually easy. Some note it is a little pricier than big box stores for some things, with prices described as ok or somewhat pricey, though butter is always on sale. It may close up to half an hour earlier than quoted hours some days. This is not the supermarket for basic shopping, but a go-to for many who always feel at home.

Bravo and kudos to The Village Barn for their SUPERB Thanksgiving dinner special. We fed 10 people and have much left over! Everyone raved about the food and wow, did this make life easy for me, the hostess! What’s on the menu for Christmas? Count us in!
