Prices are up, however Walmart is the best for poor folks. I live of my veteran pension and Snap. I travel to Walmart monthly from Rose Hill heights Bronx NY in order to survive. Now self check out is only for customers with 10 items or less. And therefore i don't stop to show my receipt on my way out. I don't see White folks working at Walmart ? I don't see African Americans at Walmart ? All i see is Hispanics of different nationalities. If you want to see the price of each item, as the cashier is ringing them up, one has to be behind The cachier because in front of the cashier one can only see the total. I positioned myself in the back cause i want to make sure im being charged the price that's on the shelves... Which is not the case on many items. Heads up Walmart Will rob you. Remember folks whoever works at Walmart isn't too smart .”

    “From Miami, stayed on Fresh Pond Rd. Tried other Delis and this is by far the best one. Their Fried anything is great! Not greasy at all. Tried their eggs bacon egg sandwich, great. Tried their chicken tender sandwich, great. Very cheap as well, $1.50 coffees, $7 footlong sandwiches. Everything else is well priced from Danish to gum. Their Fried chicken is on point. Great service, went 3 different days and had 3 different servers and all were great. A must go, yo wont regret coming here.”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
