“I'm not generally a Dollar store shopper but we were camping and needed a few things on Saturday 7/13 around mid-day. I'm writing this review only to say that the lady at the register at that time deserves a raise! She was 100% better than any store cashier I think I've ever encountered at any store. It was somewhat busy at the time, I needed to use the bathroom while she was checking people out she still noticed me looking for the bathroom and got me the keys, then made sure to apologize for the wait time in line, offered us a coupon, and promptly got us the ice we needed outside. Her service was worth this review. I was very impressed! Especially considering the general lack of customer service that I think we've all come to expect everywhere these days.”
“12/15/24-Recent months/ store is always uncluttered clean and well merchandized and stocked on the SHEVES instead. of the aisles being piled high and not being able to find what you came in for.
My CONGRATS TO THIS WHOLE DG TEAM FOR A JOB WELL DONE. EVERY STAFF MEMBER HAS BEEN PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY AND A PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH??????????
WE WILL BE BACK
Carl”
“Friendly staff that I know is under paid!! Only thing I had an issue with is that some of the candies I purchased that were in the thin little boxes, ( hot tamales, junior caramels) tasted like laundry soap, or dryer sheets.”
“Very helpful staff members always willing to help locate items when asked if it got moved to a different aisle or if they have it in back the willing to go check.inside they have a freezer section / refrigeration area plus your regular foods and merchandise that go on shelving for storage as well as displayed in ways all heights and ages can see everything from your folks and knives to car materials as well as both wet and dry foods as well as treats toys colors leashes etc for your pets. Soaps, shampoos, over the counter medicines and vitamins for humans.ect...”
“*****. much improved appearance, in dollar general, milford. and five star cashier last week.as about everyone in the local area says, this store looked like a dump with more merchandise blocking the aisles and messy than there is on the shelves for a long time.how in the world with normally only one person on a shift are they able to cashier, stock shelves and even keep the floors swept?how can good hard working conscientious people not burn out and leave?free tip. when you do have a good employee, treat them as valuable, and do whatever it takes to keep them long term.it is far cheaper to retain good employees than to lose them and go thru the never ending process of looking for, hiring and training people that detract from rather than add to the growth of your business.crybabies can complain about covid, nobody wants to work, and all that bs.there are still plenty of good hard working reliable people all around, and they will gravitate from the dead-end businesses to the ones that prosper.right in this area their are many restaurants and all kinds of businesses that value and treat their employees like very important pepole.if you notice when you go by they are busy and others are starving,if you go in you're very likely to get five star service and be satisfied, and most importantly return and even tell your friends.take the challenge and see for yourself why some businesses are really prospering while others are constantly looking for, hiring and losing their help.”
