Not to be mean but if you cannot greet me, then why would I spend any money with you. DAS Auto within 5 minutes greeted me and asked me if I needed any help. “I visited them to purchase a battery for my car. Liz was very knowledgeable about the correct battery and explained the way it was made and how it worked. I noticed they also offered jump starters. I requested information on one of them and she informed me it was too much battery for my car. It was a battery more suitable for a truck (I have a sedan) and cost prohibitive for my model. She suggested an alternative jumper at a more reasonable price and explained how it works and its benefits. AND they sell double A lithium batteries! I highly recommend them for all your battery needs and more. It was my 1st visit to them and it won’t be my last.”

I have a 2025 Tacoma and we did a lift kit on it today and ordered some wheels and tires. Manny is the mechanic here he knows his stuff and is always willing to help out. “One of my tires was dangerously low and the air machine at a nearby gas station wasn’t working, so I randomly pulled in because their doors were open. Nick jumped to help us out, filled the tire and checked for leaks. Totally above and beyond for a random person, stopping by with no appointment after their closing hours. “So impressed and thankful to Dave and Alex for helping us patch a flat tire, last-minute, as we were headed out of town. I'm new to the area and called the closest place I could find on Google. While Google said they closed at 6, they actually close at 5 and to my delight, Dave, the owner, answered and said that as long as I could get to his shop by 4:40, he would have someone patch the tire, even if they needed to stay slightly past 5. I didn't ask him to do us this favor, he offered and was so kind about it. Alex fixed our tire quickly, had a great attitude and even joked around with us, showing no issue having to stay a few minutes past closing.
While I waited for Alex to fix our tire, Dave sat and talked with us once he learned we were house-hunting in the area. He was lovely to converse with, provided us with some local recs for other service providers, and was so nice, you felt like you were at a café having coffee with him vs waiting on your car.

“I must confess that I am not a person who likes to write reviews about my purchases or services but the service I have received from New Level Auto Repair over the years is well worth taking the time.
I am a client who has been with them since they started the business and I must say that over the years I have seen their growth in terms of quality of work, guarantees on repairs and most importantly, clear and honest communication with the customer.
In my case, I am a client who lives in New Jersey and it is impossible for me to leave my car at the shop on weekdays, with a call they allowed me to drop my car on a Saturday and pick it up the following Saturday.
On Monday my car was inspected and I received a complete report including photos and videos about the maintenance and recommended repairs for my vehicle, after that the service advisor contacted me and answered all the questions and doubts I had about the estimate and once the work was authorized, they proceeded with the repair.
The price was a fraction of what my local dealer had quoted me to do the same job and the guarantees that New Level Auto Repair offers are much better than those offered by my dealer so despite the distance I have to drive I will continue to be their customer and I hope they can soon open a shop here in New Jersey so that more people can have access to this type of service.”
“Tom and Hillside Service workers are good folk for the community. When calling in for service for your vehicle just address your issue quickly cause they are busy daily.
A helpful is to call ahead to come to the shop to diagnose your issue then set up a time to bring your car in for him to look at. Tom was quick to diagnose the problem I had for years that the dealership wouldn’t figure out. Took him one full day to fix my main issue, but he discovered another issue related to the first & wouldn’t let me come pick my car up until the whole issue was resolved. Overall, Tom and others want to make sure you are taken care of, fairly price and I will go back if anymore issues.”

“Imagine leaving work to head home in slacks & shirt around sundown on an overcast, rainy day, to find as you are pulling out the parking lot your rear passenger tire is so low that you are scared to go beyond 30-mph on a 50-mph road. Also imagine you have a 7 p.m. appointment that same day. Add to that, none of the nearby gas stations have a functioning air pump for you to air-up enough to get home. Then, imagine checking online to see if there are nearby tire centers that are still open to get it patched. Well, this was me... yesterday. David (mgr.) at the Lee Road (Orlando, FL) store went the extra mile at a time his store closed and everyone was heading home. Google said it closed at 6 p.m., but the hours recently changed to 5:30. I limp to the store in rush hour traffic at 5:32 to find I was two minutes late. David wrote up the order and came out to help me himself with the intention of putting on the spare and taking the tire for patching so I can make the 12 mile trip home. I would This was generous on it's own because it was time for him to head home, it was getting dark, the weather looked nastier, and in all fairness (despite the change in hours) I was late. Instead, he switches gears and says, "Let me go ahead and take care of this for you." So, instead of holding it to the morning for repair, he plugs the hole, water-tests it, and re-mounts it. I'm heading into the store to pay him, and he says, "Don't worry about it, you need to get home." I mean, WHO does that nowadays? It's these generous acts that gives me faith in my fellow man at a time when it can be argued we see anything but. I head home to my family safe and sound and then to my scheduled appointment. Kudos to David for being a kind human being! Mavis, please hire and train more folks of character like him! It means a lot and it'll come back to you in spades!”
