The last 2 visit I’ve been using the new shopping cart where you scan as you place your groceries in & definitely is speedy , need some getting used to.”

I have 3 young kids I often have to bring along, and they actually love coming to the waiting area as there are little games and things there for them to do, and Yasmin is always so nice to them. “We go all the time and it's consistently great. The catfish is always made-to-order and is fresh. The sides, especially the sweet potatoes (aka, candied yams) are wonderful. The potato salad is little heavy on the mustard, but the collards are wonderfully seasoned. Desserts are always good also. I'd recommend it. It's easy to miss behind the McDonald's in Nyack, next to a convenience store.”

“There are a ‘pair’ of stations on each side of the road. Lowest gas prices in area. During periods of busy traffic it can be difficult to cross over to the traffic lane on the opposite side of the road, so best to use the station on your direction of travel. Still, it’s good value if you need to wait a few minutes. With pricing at 40 to 50 cents per gallon less than many stations in the area you can save $5.00 per 10 gallons of fuel. Be patient!”

“I needed my carinspected as it was more than a month overdue. I had been trying to find the time and unexpectedly found myself in a situation (on a Saturday no less!) where I was going to be in the Armonk area for the next 90 minutes so I took a chance and Googled the closest facility which resulted in this Armonk garage. I drove there within minutes, parked, and walked up to the garage office but before I could enter a gentleman who is working on a car in one of the three garage bay’s approached me and asked if he could help me. I asked if he could complete an inspection in the next 90 minutes and to my surprise he told me he could do it within an hour, but then I told him that I had a dog in the car who is very nervous so I would need to sit in the car until they were ready to take the car into the garage, which he agreed to. No sooner had I settled in to stream some Netflix over the next hour, did I get a knock on my window (about 15 minutes later) by the same gentleman letting me know he was ready to take the car in! I stood in the parking lot for about 10 minutes at the most with my pup in my arms, The inspection was completed and I was charged $37 which is the New York State specified rate I had seen on the Internet. I tipped the gentleman and thanked him for taking us so quickly and he happily replied that he had a soft spot for rescued dogs. Such a pleasant experience!”

“This is a craft beer shop masquerading as a convenience store and 76 gas station. As far as I'm concerned it has the best craft beer selection of anywhere along the saw mill, and one of the best in all of Westchester. Go for the IPA's alone.”

“I loved this place! We stopped in here on our way to my friend's home. This was our first time in the area and wanted to grab something to bring and get some scratch off tickets. I went in alone because we had our dog with us. I usually browse stores when I visit my first time because you never know what kind of treasures you find!As I was browsing, I discovered the PBR hard coffee, which we were searching for at that point for a while. I grabbed 2 4 packs and some lottery tickets. I think I grabbed a random diet drink because of my diabetes. The cashier was very friendly and engaging in pleasant conversation. I was the only customer in the store so no rush. The store is small, as expected, but has a lot of necessities to offer. The store appeared clean and tidy. There were plenty of parking spots outside so even during any rush hour, you should be in and out. It does seem like a busy intersection so that may be a little hectic, but still minor.”

“Very nice place. Great Job on the latest renovations. Simply because of renovations they had closed but it was worth it the interior looks great. The variety is unlimited and they have all the groceries and beverages that you could ask for. Also in the summertime they had a soft ice cream machine up and running which was very good. “I order and do takeout from Nick’s many times a week. Don’t believe any of the low reviews. The food is VERY good. I preorder or choose from their delicious hot options. Their hot options change daily. Tuesday, prime rib night is the best! The steak is delicious. I have also had a good juicy burger from there. French fries also nice and crispy…..big portion! In the morning, you will be lucky if you get there when they make their homemade muffins. I love the blueberry muffin. The prices are very fair for this area. I look forward to the winter months to buy their chicken vegetable soup. It is for people who like big fresh chunks of white meat chicken, fresh carrots, and celery. (When my cat had a virus, I nursed him back to health on Nick’s chicken soup.) Also, the workers there are very pleasant, friendly, and accommodating. You do yourself a disservice if you believe the low reviews. Stick with the high reviews, they are real. Enjoy!!!”

“Occasionally we just ended up at Bedford hills waiting for the train and experienced a delay. We started to look for a place to snack something and WHO KNEW that we were gonna find this hidden gem!!As a half Latina I know my Latin food and these guys had it all!!Sancocho (slow cooked beef soup), Tamales (corn pie filled with chicken), beans and rice ? etcetcAnd when we orderd it was SO DELICIOUS!!My Swedish friend who never had any Latin food was amazed. This food really felt like someone had cooked it with love!Also the staff were super friendly, helpful and service minded.I REALLY recommend this place to anyone that want something good, filling, and well done!I hope that I have the opportunity to come back!Keep up the good work guys!”
