Definitely worth the extra 10 minute drive to this location versus my local Mott Ave post office(they are horrible). Thank you again ladies!”

“I had a passport appointment at the Bronx location today because it was the only appointment available. I traveled all the way there only to find out that the passport employee didn’t come to work, so appointments weren’t being honored. Unfortunately, I never received any notification that my appointment had been canceled.
After that, I came to this post office hoping they might be able to fit me in as a walk-in. Thankfully, they did! The passport agent was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. He made what started as a very stressful day into a great experience.
Thank you so much for your kindness and willingness to help. If I lived closer, this would definitely be the only post office I’d go to. 😊”
“I applied for a passport for my newborn son in this place. There are two people working here. I don't know how to fill in the form. There is a middle-aged woman who helped me fill in the form. “I had a great experience at the United States Post Office in Woodmere. There was only one customer ahead of me, and the line moved very quickly. I needed a passport photo and walked in—even though the door states that an appointment is required, the staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. They were able to take my photo on the spot and carefully verify that it met all passport photo requirements.
There was also plenty of parking available in the lot, which made the visit even easier. From the moment I walked in the door to the time I got back into my car, the entire process took less than 15 minutes. Efficient, friendly, and stress-free service.”

“I love this post office. The staff is always in good spirits and they’re ready to help with any issue. The gentleman there always greets me with a smile and is quick and efficient with my packages. I ship a lot because I have a small business and I will always choose USPS. When I came in with a bunch of orders the other day no one sighed or looked upset they were ready to scan & get me to my next errand. They really know how to get a long line down fast while giving each individual customer care and time. Great job guys!!”

Not only was Lionel so kind but he was willing to go over the top to help me even when he was solo and had many people in the store. With the highly aggressive competition from private firms with huge corporate funds, we appreciate that a taxpayer funded government institution is subject to budget cuts, and often local Post Offices are not given the manpower they require to keep up with the demand on their staff. We Thank You ALL USPS mailmen and women postal workers.”
“Came here a few minutes before closing to deliver a very important package that needed to be postmarked on that day. The fee was $2.85, but I only had about $1.80 on me. The nice lady still let me deliver the package. I'll be forever grateful for how they treated me that day.”
“Eddie helped me with my children’s passports and he made the entire process so easy. He answered questions about the paperwork and was knowledgeable about a unique situation we were dealing with. He was meticulous but everything was done quickly and perfectly. My daughter is 2 1/2 and my son is 7 months, they were both having a bad day because a lot had gone wrong, but Eddie made it brighter. He was extremely kind and patient with my both of them. In my opinion, Eddie is worth more than 5 stars.”

“Great location and service. It's a plus since the wait times are not long at all in this location since it's not as populated. If you're in a hurry to mail something out and you're in the area, I'd suggest checking this location out. They only allow one person inside the actual office at a time because of COVID and since it's on the smaller side.”

“I’ve only been to the Glen Head post office twice, but both times have been such a joy thanks to Kareena. She is cheerful, helpful, and has a wonderfully talkative attitude that truly brightens my day. She manages to take the “chore” out of running an errand and turns it into a genuinely pleasant experience.
I live several towns over, but from now on, I will make the trip to this specific post office simply because of Kareena. She’s such an asset—not just to the Glen Head post office, but to every customer she interacts with. Highly recommend coming here if you want excellent service with a smile!”
