“I haven’t been to HomeGoods in years since they closed the location in Mahopac. I stopped in on a whim today and was thoroughly impressed with the size of the store, the general organization, and just the sheer amount of selection.HomeGoods is a wonderful store to add some personality to your home. They have items that are unique enough and represent various aesthetics, but won’t go out of style soon. And it’s also great to see some of your more “basic” items (kitchenware, towels, etc) at lower costs than your average retailer.If you’re in the area on a lazy Sunday, stop in and do some window (or real) shopping—you’ll kill time and have a blast!”

Very patient and was genuinely invested in my experience, answered all my questions, wanted me to be comfortable and was very clear on the terms, and differences on the mattresses. I wasn’t sure what to expect since I’ve never been to really a mattress store in the last 20 years a this was some of the best customer service you could ask for in any industry, and I’m glad I walked into this one place in Mount Kisco on this day. “So ... I'm the son of a former maven in the carpet industry. Why do I share this? Because that makes me a tough customer. Tough to sell to; tough to install for while I'm overseeing the cutting, seaming, etc. etc. etc. With all that said ... you'd have to be a fool to buy carpet anywhere else other than Westchester House and Home. I walked in, was greeted kindly, told Kathy what the carpet was being purchased for, the color requirements, and equally as important, what my price point was. She went directly to a stack of showroom samples and said here's your baby. And she was right. Totally. On the first try. What more can a customer ask for? Just when you think things can't get any better, they did. The carpet was delivered the day it was promised and then I had the great pleasure of meeting Luis, the expert carpet installer. It was a relatively big install, so Luis and his team arrived early then at 5:15 Luis asked, "How late can we work?" Now ... it's been my experience that when the end of day bell rings, out the door go the workmen. Not here. Luis and his hardworking confidants stayed at my home to near 9:00 in the evening so they could get the job done in one shot. And get the job done they did. Expertly, and might I dare to say in the prose of carpet industry jargon, seamlessly. I highly recommend Westchester House and Home. To go anywhere else would just be plain silly.”

“I find that Target stores and my experiences in each one can vary greatly from location to location. In a way this can be a positive thing - it makes going to a new location fun and exciting, like an adventure. I’m curious what this particular location might have that others do not. On the other hand , the difference can be too severe. There are times when a store has been under stocked, and dirty - as if it’s been neglected and rundown. Luckily this is not the case at Mt. Kisco. The store is well stocked, clean, fully staffed and pleasant to shop in. 5 stars all around!”
