“We had the most wonderful stay here over Labor Day weekend! Rob and Jennie are amazing hosts who have made this place wonderful. I love that they had beach chairs and a nice lawn area to chill. The location is stunning with views of the ocean from wherever you are. Laid back, pleasant, and close to town. The rooms are very spacious. I loved the suite. I would highly recommend.”

“Very nice establishment. The people who work here are very nice and helpful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. I like the clean white look inside. Great shower head and draw space for clothes. Outside is fantastic. Lots of seating and propane fire pods. Games for everyone to play.
Walkability: The beach is basically across the street for a relaxing day
Food and drinks: Easy walk to the bars and restaurants in the harbor”
“me and my family were wanting to go to Montauk and the prices were so expensive for a 2 night stay. on the day that we were going to Montauk, I saw Harborside and decided to check for availability and found the last room available. Everyone was so nice at Harborside, im really glad I got to stay here and will be coming back again!!!”

“Fantastic hotel right next to the beach. You can see the ocean from the second floor. The rooms are spacious and have microwaves and larger refrigerators, and very modern inside, with nice bathrooms and large showers. Also very helpful front office staff. Highly recommend!”

“Cute hotel one block from the beach. We only spent one day but the staff was easy going and the room was clean. Great value for price and location. I liked how they have chairs and umbrellas to take to the beach with you too. I loved that we could see the ocean from our window.”

“We came mid-week in October. An oceanfront was appx $260 night. The grounds are immaculate, and the heated pool and hot tub were clean and enjoyable. The room was comfortable and had a beautiful sunrise view. The shower was small but functional.Walkability: Just 2 blocks to main circle.”
“Amazing location. The staff was super nice and helpful. They cleaned our room every day which was amazing. They just need longer shower curtains in the bathroom cause there was water everywhere after you showered.”

“Right next to the beach! Very pleasant room with a private terrace, very clean. The staff was so nice. There’s also a cute pool and outside shower near so you can also wash yourself after the beach.
Walkability: Not too far from the center. At the morning we walked for about 20 minutes for breakfast but it was such a pleasant walk. There’s a boardwalk right by.”
“I had an amazing experience here with my family, including my husband and our little toddler. This place was truly remarkable and a great stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary ! My son enjoyed the pool so much, and the hotel had a wonderful, laid-back vibe. Our room was stunning, offering ocean views and was the best in the hotel! It had a private balcony. I loved the room amenities and the complimentary drink we got upon check-in. They even set up beanbags and umbrellas at the beach, which was a nice touch. Tatiana was incredibly friendly, and we will definitely be back to this fantastic destination!”

“We went there for our Anniversary celebration. It was off season which was not an issue. Our unit faced the ocean and falling asleep to the sounds of waves reaching the shore was peaceful and tranquil. We had wonderful walks by the ocean daily and no issue finding places to eat. Our time there was wonderful! We saw both sunsets and sunrise…”
“Somehow the Montauk Beach House offers a hot vibe while still being totally chill. This is a hidden gem of Montauk. The setting, outdoor decor, bar, music (both DJ and Live) is amazing...but what makes this place so great is the staff! Starting with the owner, Yannis...he makes every guest feel like a VIP. Nico, the bartender is a wizard with cocktails and is warm and friendly to all. And then there's Emma and Margarana always smiling and engaging, taking the time to talk and listen, no matter how busy working the floor. As opposed to other "it" places in Montauk...the "Beach House" has absolutely no 'tude here. It's a great vibe both day and night. I just hope this review doesn't make my "escape" too crowded.”
“Great location, clean and comfortable room. The lady at the front desk was friendly, but you could do your whole stay and not need to interact with anyone if you didn't want to. The mobile check-in and check out was very easy.
I wish I had stayed during a warmer weekend, since the pool looked very nice.”
“We stayed in the hill house suite with family for a long weekend and it was absolutely perfect. Very family friendly, they even had an outdoor movie night. My kids didn’t want to leave (neither did I)! We had everything we could have needed, it was very clean, staff was so nice and helpful. Short walk to the beach and an easy walk into town as well. We can’t wait to come back!”

“My husband and I have been treating ourselves to relaxing rejuvenating weekends at Gurneys for the past three months. So much so that the wonderful staff makes us feel like family. We've been lucky to have Genevieve and Marguerite welcome us at checkin and checkout. To me, one of the most important things in hospitality is the warmth and friendliness of the people at the front desk. It sets the stage for how your entire stay will go. Everything and I mean everything is five stars. The views, facility, food and drinks are above and beyond 5 stars.”
“Only went here to catch the sunset at the bar on a Friday eve in the off seaon (October 24th).
-Kitchen is closed in off season, but thankfully the bar is open. Cocktails were great!
-Follks definitely start pouring in quickly to watch the sun go down, so arrive at least hour before sunset if you want a seat (off season Friday).
-No dogs allowed unless service animals.”
“Room was nice and clean, TV is too small, room service is good, hallway carpeting is old and torn, very noisy at night, restaurant sucks, not enough waiters, one cook, had to wait 45 minutes for two eggs and bacon. Overall staff was very courteous and friendly.
Rooms: Walking up and down stairs a safety hazard, steps are very narrow, ca hand rails are awkward.
Nearby activities: Not much to do other than visit light house and apple picking.
Safety: Didn't see any type of security, parking at night, is horrible.
Walkability: Seniors and handicapped have to request a first floor room, no elevator or ramp to second floor.
Noteworthy details: Not worth the money they charge.”

“Love Daunt’s Albatross! The first time we went our daughter was 6 weeks old. It was our first family vacation. It was the best time.
Location: close proximity to everything. You are a block away from the beach. It’s very doable. You are by everything. You can walk everywhere. We parked our car the first day and didn’t move it until we were leaving.
Hospitality: this is a family owned business. They take care of it. You can see the love and hard work they put into it. It shows. It is very well appreciated. My family would rather stay here.
Vibes: it’s great for family and dog lovers. I grew up going to Montauk when it was a fisherman town. It’s completely changed over the year. Despite the changes, Daunts Albatross is such a pleasant and welcoming place.”
