“A few days before I was scheduled to tow my travel trailer south for the winter I had a front end collision that disabled my F250. After checking with other shops that indicated that it would be a couple of months before they could get me in you can imagine my delight when Joanie, the manager at Dick's, said they would take it right in. Despite the fact that they obviously had a full work schedule they were willing to prioritize my job and had me back on the road before the end of the following week. They worked smoothly with my insurance company, got the parts ordered immediately, and did an excellent job of completing all aspects of the work. Dick's is clearly a shop that not only does outstanding work but one that obviously prioritizes the needs of their customers. I can not recommend them highly enough. “TY so much for inspecting my truck and being honest about the leaf spring shackles and hangars. We got them replaced ASAP a couple years ago! Had they not caught that and just passed my truck through inspection like some garages it would have meant some serious damage to my truck. This last inspection they caught the inner brake pads riding on the rotors. It was passable but still the same my dad and I are going to do a whole brake job. My dad was a crew chief in the Air Force so as long as he's alive I don't think anyone else would be allowed to work on my truck except him. That said I did grind my dad about not doing a proper inspection a couple years ago... Lol ?”

They were able to diagnose and repair my muffler situation, as well as as completing repairs on my air conditioning system. I was told by the dealership that I needed an air filter. They informed that I did not need one. All of the work was done within the parameters they said. Five star service!!”
“Visiting area when Jeep had issue. Very fortunate they fit us in late Friday for diagnostic and got us repaired and back on road early Monday morning. All service departments are currently stressed for parts and people but the service of Lisa Gonyo and maintenance staff was great with friendly people and accommodations while waiting.”

“I needed the low beam on my grand Cherokee replaced. Definitely more complex then most vehicles. Andy came recommended. From the time I stopped until the time I left Andy was very respectful and friendly just a genuinely nice guy. He stopped what he was doing and had me pull my jeep into his shop so he could “ see what he could do to help me out”. My headlight is replaced at a more then reasonable price and I can’t say enough good about the service. I don’t normally write reviews but this experience definitely deserves one. Thanks again.”
“I'd not used TM before, but was referred there for a burst brake line on a 29 year old van! My usual garage declined the job, I think it looked too hard. The broken line was very hard to even see, behind the sideways V6 engine. TM fixed it, spliced in a new piece. I have no idea how they got to it. I'm sure it was a time consuming difficult job, so it was not cheap. But still less than junking the vehicle. I see they are ASE certified too. I'll continue to use them. Lastly, I prefer a small, local, family operation. 5 stars.
Oh, yes, I did have to wait a number of days to get my job done, but the fact they are that busy is a good sign in my book.”

“My furnace blower died on me on a saturday morning when its -10 outside.Nobody in plattsburgh had one in stock till I called here. Online showed they were closed but they answered the phone said bring it right in and we will see if we cant fix it. I bring it in Bob did his magic and I was out the door up and running again. “These guys have been fixing my family's vehicles for 10 years or more, I couldnt count how many times I've had work done here, I've been towed by them, rescued from being broke down, and everything in between and I have not once walked away from them feeling like I got robbed or worse.... and thats a real big statement for an auto repair shop. “This shop and the staff is definitely the most honest, caring and professional place in the area by a long shot. Jeff is the smartest, well educated, and honest mechanic I have ever met. I used to be a long time customer of European AutoHaus in Plattsburgh, until they started to rip people off. My car was worked on by both the owner and a kid (who did not care about anyone’s vehicle / livelihood) and they left me with the front control arms loose (extremely dangerous) and I didn’t really know until it felt like my car was going to fall apart.. I brought my car here and within 5 minutes he diagnosed the problem and had it taken care of. I could go on and on about the countless, greedy, non professional and dishonest mechanics all around this area but I am just here to say no matter what issue your having with your vehicle from small to big, there is only one smart option when it comes to choosing who to trust with it. And that place is here. Thanks to you guys, you have saved me a lot of money and gave me a peace of mind that no matter what, my vehicle will always be taken care of and handled with care.”

“When it comes to reviewing business, I never write two reviews. Della is my first exception to this rule.
Driving down the Northway from Montreal to Albany, I noticed that my Forrester was shaking when driving at highway speeds. Rather than risk breaking down, I decided to stop by Della Subaru to find out what the problem was. We arrived at 7:30, first in line thirty minutes before they opened, without an appointment. When I explained the issue, it was immediately diagnosed as ice in the wheels. They took our car immediately and removed as much ice as they could. THEY DID THIS FOR ME FREE OF CHARGE. Upon getting on the highway, the problem was resolved.
Della could have charged me or kept me waiting. Instead they went above and beyond for a passing Subaru owner who is unlikely ever to be a frequent customer as we live over 100 miles away. These guys are the real deal and I would trust them with any car problem.”

“Took my 20 year old Camry to them, my first time at this shop. I'm hard of hearing and am not sure of the fellow's name, but his lift was not empty so he crawled under my car in the wet drive to assess the problem, gave me an appointment. Another garage had turned down the needed repair (cut out and replace part of the exhaust) as beyond their ability. JR's did it easily and at a fair price. I will use them again. I much prefer a small local shop where you are talking to the owners and the persons that will do the actual work. 5 STARS!”
