“This local market has it all and then some. American staples and very interesting Asian foods. Hot and cold foods available, all fresh and yummy. They serve breakfast sandwiches which are perfect. Great value and full Bore's Head selections. The staff is kind, friendly and helpful. The coffee is good. They have lots of interesting desserts.”
“A lot of local people don’t know this market exists. While from the exterior it looks like a typical small store with last minute staple items, this one has an amazing butcher! if your grilling, one of my favorite marinaded meats can be found here. The prices on this incredible meat selection are usually better than your nearby supermarket and the quality better. Give it a try!”
“When I first moved into this community, this was the first location I visited. They were innately welcoming and kind despite never having seen me before. The couple who own the place are diligent workers, and I've heard innumerable stories about the good deeds they've done for the lesser fortunate of Mt. Kisco. Deeds their humility would prevent them from sharing with others, but deeds that haven't gone unnoticed. Supporting this place is supporting this town.”
“The place was very tidy and had a lot of healthy optionsThere are also many nutritional supplements and vitaminsThe behavior of the staff was wonderfulThe only problem is that there are not many halal options”
“they redid this store and made it twice the size. so nice and well stocked and lots of help. they have electronic carts that u can add yr coupons and itshows u how mych yr items are. so cool.”
“I applaud the A&P in Mt. Kisco for attempting to carry most the products needed by Jews to celebrate Passover. I especially need to thank Alex for helping me navigate the otherwise crazy layout of items. If they at least labeled the aisles and shelves better, my shop might have gone faster and more effectively, but he was great. There are still products that are not available like dairy, (cream cheese and whipped butter and Mother's margarine, for example). Prices were too high for some of the products that are usually much more affordable. Can't end without mentioning that the check out crew was great!”
“Classic Italian deli, a destined institution with such fresh mozzarella, breads, and the kindest Italian folks working the counter. Reminds me of my years in Staten Island. Delicious cheddar-roast beef sandwich, summer corn salad, and homemade banana breads of all kinds. Lots of Italian goodies like pastas and candies and drinks. Outdoor seating for a warm day.
5 stars!!!!”
“Terrific shop for all kinds of shelf-stable British foods, even some frozen. And teas and many other items from UK. PG Tips is there! Mincemeat! Folks are real nice.”
