“while waiting for unck i stopped by foodtown supermarket in mt vernon instead of the bigger and more selection stop&shop and overall i found what i needed for my quick get a few basic items run. not the biggest or the most selection supermarket but they got what is most needed like fruits and veggies , chicken , milk, can goods , snacks, water, soda etc. prices are cheaper then then manhattan and selection is just as good. the lady cashier made me add a extra star as she bagged my stuff like a pro and nothing spilled,broke or got flatten as some other careless cashiers tend to do. foodtown supermarket serves the local community with no fancy bells and whistles and thats cool with me.”
