“My experience with The Antique Parlor was excellent. They were very responsive to my questions, shipping was fast, and the piece was just as described. I look forward to my next purchase!”
“Had a wonderful experience with Charles locksmith from a nightmare situation. I somehow got locked out and called them in a panic. They eased all my worries and got me in rather quickly. Very happy with the service and professionalism. Highly recommend!!”
“Came here with my husband on Sunday and it was so nostalgic for us. It took me back to my childhood and I enjoyed walking all throughout the house. Dan was really nice and chills and made us feel comfortable.”
“Lawrence was very kind and did a phenomenal job re-wiring my Art Deco chandelier. It was done very professionally and quickly too. I highly recommend him for antique lighting re-wiring / repair! This guy knows his stuff. Thanks again”
“I echo the other reviewers: wonderful store with a unique selection of quality products coupled with personalized customer service. THIS is what NYC should be made of, instead of chase banks and weed shops on every corner. The prices are a bit higher, but it's nothing crazy, and let's please remember that you get what you pay for. And if you want nyc to retain some of its character on at least one little corner in this city, please -- pretty please -- stop over and purchase something from this lovely little shop.”

“There are many places online, in-person, and at auction to purchase fossils, minerals, and meteorites. But there are very few businesses where you can trust them to provide excellent selections at a fair price, outstanding customer service, and an all around good experience. Astro West: Fine Minerals, Fossils, and Meteorites goes above and beyond to meet and exceed expectations.”
“Wow wow wow!! Stunning hole in the wall boutique that makes me feel like I’m Alice in Wonderland. As a college student, I appreciated the forgiving price range! Walking home with a beautiful piece and I couldn’t be happier.”
“Small but interesting assortment. Prices about on par with what you might expect in the neighborhood. Even if she doesn't know a lot about an object, Martine is still pleasant to talk with. Stop by if you're in the vicinity! At minimum you'll see something interesting; at maximum a new objet d'art for your home!”
“Wow ! what a great place to get all your jewelry and watches repaired. Great service and also reasonable prices. I updated my engagement ring and now I can’t stop looking at it. I’ll definitely be coming back with my other jewelry!”
“This boutique is absolutely a rare gem! It’s very special. The quality of their products are so unique and superb! The staff are warm and welcoming! I’m so happy I found this treasure!”
“I've been living in Hastings for 20 years, and this is by far my favorite shop. Fonda is an absolute gem. A gorgeous selection of vintage and antique jewelry and home decor. To anyone visiting the rivertowns or Westchester county, Surburban Renewal is an absolute must visit!
As of 2/9/24 they do not accept apple pay, bring cards or cash! Trust me, you can't walk out of this quaint little shop and not buy something. There is something for everyone!”
“Camilla Dietz Bergeron is a hidden gem (pun intended) tucked away in an elegant second floor boutique on Madison Avenue. It has an exquisite and extensive collection of Estate Jewelry by the most revered jewelers, as well as treasures from smaller masters. The staff knows jewelry, cares about each individual client, and takes pride in finding just the right piece for a shopper. If you are searching for a particular stone or cut, CDB has the contacts and expertise to find it for you. Lastly, having comparison shopped before becoming a client, prices are very fair. A visit to CDB is a very special experience!”
“Six years ago, during a visit to Cuba, I came across a breathtaking pen and ink drawing of an elephant. The artist meticulously rolled it into a tube, ensuring its safe passage and storage. For years, I protected this magnificent piece, unsure if I had a wall long enough to display it properly. My search for the perfect framer led me to the incredible Beverly.
With her gloves on, Beverly carefully unrolled the drawing, treating it with the utmost care and attention to detail. Her artistic gifts and profound appreciation for art were evident as she began to envision the perfect framing for this piece. Beverly's thoughtfulness and expertise are unparalleled. I have found the framer I will turn to time and again.
The elephant has finally found its new home. Thank you, Beverly!”
“Seamless online transaction. Purchased a pair of temple jars and a ginger jar via the website. The website provided ample photos of each item as well as the dimensions. The jars were expertly packed and arrived in perfect condition. They are beautiful. I hope to visit Ethnika in person one day.”
“What a beautiful job Rob did on my Grandparents chest of drawers, approx late 1940’s, above & beyond what one could imagine, a memory that will last a lifetime”
“selection is definitely hit and miss like any consignment store. you can find some awesome designer items for great prices if you're patient and sift through everything/come back periodically. for example, i got an 100% cashmere brooks brothers peacoat in near perfect condition for $125 but have also walked out of here empty-handed many times. don't expect thrift store prices, but items are generally in better condition than other thrift stores in the neighborhood”
“Cute thrift shop and the people who work here are so friendly! I always love stopping by when I am in the area. I’ve purchased plenty of vintage mens’ sweaters and various knick knacks.
Purchased this cute little clay house that was on display at the front of the shop the other day :-)”
“FEA Home in Yonkers offers exceptional quality furniture, complemented by outstanding service. The furniture selection is impressive, priced right and the overall experience reflects a commitment to excellence.”
“Wonderful shop with numerous gifts for your special occasion. Great service by friendly staff. We were looking for special socks, which they did not have so the owner order for us while we were there.”

“I used to volunteer here in 2017-2019 and they had very good clothing donations that were all sent to auctions or best of season events. What you’re left with every day is $15 USED h&m t-shirts that cost $9.99 new, random trinkets that if you buy, you get rid of after a year, and stupid overpriced designer items.
So today I walked by the store and saw that they were doing the best of fall. There was a line but im disabled and I showed them proof and asked if there was anywhere I could sit while I waited and they said just ask the person at the end of the line if you can join them when they’re at front. I said ok and waited 50 minutes. The person I talked to left and I asked them what I could do. They said they I could just stand at the end of the line, disregarding my disability. The third person I asked said she could give me a folding chair and wait at the end of the 100 person line. I waited for like 5 minutes and realized I had to pick up a prescription sooo. Bye chair lol.”
“Gary did an amazing job. It was a very difficult piece as it was a high quality Art Deco vanity that was scratched by one of my children. It wasn’t a typical refurbishment since the vanity is made of metal with a high gloss finish. I highly recommend Gary. And he’s also very friendly.”
“I am so grateful to have Carlita and Belgrove in my life to service my stove. They are always timely, pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional. I can't actually imagine what I'd do about my antique stove without them around to help me with it.
I did a virtual repair with Carlita, and it was amazing. She clearly and expertly walked me through every step, fixed my problem- and I didn’t have to wait for anyone to come in a delivery window! Highly recommend.”
