“Customer service is on point, very nice, very welcoming. The place is old but clean, no bad smells, even in the live poultry area. I got oxtail I got one tail and a half for $30 not bad! I got their bag of goat meat, and Fowl (Hard chicken/Gallina). The oxtail was fresh, meaty and minimal fat. Cooked in 1 and half.
Goat was great, I wish they'd cut the bigger bones down so everything can cook evenly. The fowl was fresh, I stored one in the freezer to use later and it was still good. Overall a good butcher imo, good meat, good prices. They take EBT as well.”

The place is clean and quite spacious, the prices are reasonable, and the service is fast—no matter how long the line looks, they have plenty of staff on hand (and often, even the owners are there). “Been going here for more than 10 years, the guys are friendly and always willing to cut your meat just the way you want it. The meat is always fresh and packed for visibility, you get to choose from pre-cut pieces to whole pieces. They also sell a wide variety of other food items.”
“Nice little spot. I was looking for a pernil and thought they’d have one. They didn’t have a lot of meats like some of the other bigger markets I’m accustomed to BUT the customer service was great and I actually bought some chicken and beef kabobs, a small roast beef and some lamb chops.”

“Indeed things but are pricy but I come out of my way to get here because they sell what I cannot find elsewhere. The bacon (Irish) is consistently great quality and 100% Irish. Love when they have McDonnell’s HOT curry powder in stock, and today I treated myself to a bottle of orange squash (concentrate) to take me back to my childhood. Now I just want them to get some French Fancies in stock and I’ll be in heaven.”

“Meat market and Deli in one. I usually only frequent the deli, once in a while I'll get chicken from the meat market. It's nice having a butcher so close by. They also deliver. For the deli, I'll call in my order/s (breakfast or lunch) and it's ready in less than 10 minutes. Food is pretty good. They have pretty much everything you need. Nothing like a NY Bodega......no cat though ??”
