The service is excellent even in the holiday season in which the small shop can fill up quickly. They have a variety of meats, some vegetables, juices, and Jamaican bread. “I had an outstanding experience with Meat Maven in Roslyn. We needed to transport meat for over 20 hours by air and wanted it to remain frozen upon arrival. Yoel, the store manager, and Nate, one of the employees, went above and beyond to make this possible. They helped us choose the right cuts of meat, vacuum-sealed each package, deep-froze everything in their freezer for several days before pickup, carefully packed our cooler, and even sealed it with plastic wrap to maximize insulation. Thanks to their care and expertise, our meat arrived at our destination still rock solid and ready for the freezer. I am so grateful for their exceptional service, professionalism, and kindness. Highly recommend!”

“Been going here for more than 10 years, the guys are friendly and always willing to cut your meat just the way you want it. The meat is always fresh and packed for visibility, you get to choose from pre-cut pieces to whole pieces. They also sell a wide variety of other food items.”

“You can buy authentic Italian bread and baguettes here. The vegetables and fruits are slightly more expensive than Huachao, but the quality is high. I'll go once a week or two. My favorite is to go to the pond in nearby Bowne Park and grab some bread to feed the wild ducks.”

“Meat market and Deli in one. I usually only frequent the deli, once in a while I'll get chicken from the meat market. It's nice having a butcher so close by. They also deliver. For the deli, I'll call in my order/s (breakfast or lunch) and it's ready in less than 10 minutes. Food is pretty good. They have pretty much everything you need. Nothing like a NY Bodega......no cat though ??”

“i bought sum steaks from here and was very happy with the shipping and quality of the meat me and my family enjoyed it very much! They took three days shipping it but i was supprised on the third day at about 11:30 am to recive them with the ice gel packs still completly frozen over the steaks srry they are not in the pictures did not think to also show them but im happy with the money i spent and recomend to anyone with the money to spend you will not be disapointed well if your as luck as i was anyway! oh yea this is 6 steaks in the cooler hard to tell but what you see is just the top three”
