“I got my mini dachshund, Wally, on March 1st. Nearly 4 months later and I can report that he is totally healthy, happy and super smart! It was the best decision I have ever made.
Thank you to Sal! Not only does he love every puppy that comes through his doors, but he is very excited for YOU to become a dog parent! He made the whole process simple and I felt confident the day I took Wally home. It’s super clean inside and all the pups were well taken care of.
That first night in March I was certain I wouldn’t get any sleep but Wally slept through the night in his crate! And every night after (Although now he sleeps with me)! Luckily, he has also been very healthy. He was a bit under 3 pounds when I first got him but now he’s about 10 pounds! I mostly have him on the dog food they sent us home with.
I could go on furever on how much I love my dog. But if you’re thinking about it, please check out Silver Nickle Puppies. You will not regret it! Thank you again to everyone who works there!”

“Happy Cat Hotel is an incredible place. The staff members are all completely sweet and treated my cat like a member of the family! I was able to view my cat on the web cam and watch her as often as I could. The stay was less stressful on her and the attention they gave her made her feel like she never left home. “Our dog loves this shop!! Whenever we walk down Ditmars, he wants to go inside. Sometimes we walk down Ditmars past the Regal Beagle's closing time, and he sits outside of the shop patiently waiting to go inside because he doesn't want to believe it's closed. The owners are lovely, kind, and welcoming. If we have a question or concern, they are always happy to help! They have two cats who roam around the store and budgies in their cages so it gives it a homey feeling. They have pictures of dogs from the neighborhood on their walls.
Besides the toys, treats, and accessories they sell, they have a backyard for our furry friends to play. In the backyard is a hose, dog toys, and a bathtub for the dogs to play. They also have chairs for the humans to relax.
I highly recommend the Regal Beagle if you are a pet owner! Thank you Regal Beagle for putting a smile on our dog's face!! :)”

“I rarely write reviews, so when I do, it’s because the experience is truly authentic. First off, this place is an absolute gem! We felt welcomed the moment we walked in. We were a little worried about bringing our pit bull, but there was absolutely no judgment. The owner was incredibly kind, personable, and knowledgeable about different dog breeds, which made us feel even more comfortable.
They have both a human menu and a dog menu, making it the perfect brunch spot for you and your pup. The coffee was delicious, and my Foxy absolutely loved her doggy treat!
OMG, this place is beyond amazing!!!! We will definitely be back next week!!! If you haven’t been here yet, you’re truly missing out!”

“I occasionally walk into pet stores anytime i see one or anytime I pass by but this store was by far the best one I have ever seen. The vibes were immaculate especially with Jalae. She makes sure every single person the store is having the time of their life including their pets. Jalae is an exceptional and amazing person. She lights up the atmosphere in the split of a second and I love how knowledgeable and informative she is on pet supplies. Anyway, I bought a vibrating gecko toy for my cat and I know he will love it. Will be back again for sure. PS Crystal the lil frenchie is also an amazing cashier.”

“This is the most versatile independant pet store in Manhattan. They have lots of stuff for cats & dogs & birds upstairs, and a basement with a fantastic selection of healthy fish, reptiles, snails, shrimp, and a few small hamsters etc. Truly a one stop shop!
Plus the staff are extremely helpful and friendly (one runs the upstairs and one runs the downstairs) and you know they know what they're doing since there's a resident cat, parrot, and tortoise to hang out with!”

“I went through several groomers before finding Universal Pet Care, and none of them felt like the right fit. My dog would get anxious and didn’t even want to walk inside.
Since coming here, it’s been a completely different experience. My dog is actually excited to go in, which says everything. They take their time, show real care, and always treats him so well.

“I shop at Pets Boutique in Manhasset at least once a week for our puppy Bailey. Max (the owner) is always so helpful and so nice. He even gifted Bailey a beautiful box of birthday doggie cookies for her 1 year birthday yesterday. She also LOVED her cannoli cupcake that we purchased. And there's no big chains in uptown Manhattan nor south BX. This place is simple and seem to be really in stock a lot of the time! Very convenient for those of us who live anywhere north of 96th street up to Westchester and don't want to go to the chain stores.”
“The experience at this clinic with Dr.Kolta and all the staff as always are Hands down more than 5 stars. We have been in this clinic before with our other babies. They are Friendly, Knowledgeable, Respectful, Caring, and Understanding. Me and my daughter went in as a walk in today 12/6/25 to take in our senior 15 years old bichon frise pup ? ? she was not well. To make it short , She was taken care of with clear results, care, not rushed and they made the process as easy and peaceful as possible for our baby and us. We will never forget it . “It is more than 20 miles away, half an hour drive even to the nearest location ( Scarsdale ) from my house so I had not been there for a long time. However, I received discount coupons in mail and I had been searching dog food for my picky eater, I decided to go even in torrential rain. A lady at the front greeted my husband and myself and offered for help. That was a very good impression. Furthermore, I noticed that the coupons were already expired to use, but she accepted them without any hesitation. ( Hope she won't get any trouble) The prices of the food I bought were less than I spent on Amazon. My dog liked the food very much. The trip to the store was a true worth for me.”
“This store is awesome. One of the dogs I walk loves to come in for a little pick me up snack when we’re out and the staff is so friendly. Clark loooooves the tracheas they have here and will take one down so fast you almost miss it-typical golden 😉 anytime I’m in a pinch and need to grab something like paw balm or poop bags they’re always really well stocked as well.”

“I’m a little late sharing this, but I wanted to Thank Joe and his staff in Astoria for their compassion and guidance through our Rotti Dougie’s cancer diagnosis. I remember walking in to the store in Astoria and just bursting into tears. I’m sorry I don’t remember the woman’s name behind the counter, but she was so kind. She gave me Joe’s number and he advised me what supplements to try, what to cook for him, what food etc. Dougie lived 2 more happy healthy years to the surprise of many vets. He died of aneurysm at the end. While shocking and heartbreaking, we are so grateful for the 2 additional years. Of course you always wish for more. We miss him so much. Glad we didn’t go a different route. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You guys are angels.”
