This gym is a great gym, the fact that it is open 24/7 is great. It's also great that you're given an idea of what time it'll be crowded through the "Popular times".However, I feel this must be mentioned before possibly thinking of making this your go to gym. 1st, there is trash everywhere, especially in the treadmills. The treadmills aren't all working, the newer ones are really great and I am HOPING they replace the older ones but until then, expect half of them to not work. The newer ones have fans built in which i think is great. The trash is really displeasing because , at times, when you want to use an equipment, you realize at the last minute that someone couldn't simply bring there trash to the garbage rather then leaving it on the equipment which I really think is truly unfair to those who simply comes to the gym to de-stress.Sometimes the TV's aren't even working either so you're stuck looking a black screen most of the time. I mostly come to do Cardio later in the day which is fine with me since there are barely anybody around to get in the way. Staff are kind and really cooperative when you need help with someone.

If you like Fox News and broken cardio machines, this may be the gym for you. There’s always an assortment of broken treadmills and there’s always someone’s trash and old paper towels stuffed into the cup holders. The phone trays on the stationary bikes are broken or missing. The tops of some of the older treadmills are missing. The newer treadmills are less wobbly and have fans, which is niceThe free weights, especially those in the 10-25 lb range, are very hard to find as they’re scattered all over the gym and never reorganized by staffThe TVs are all too small, broken or too dark to see anything — but they always manage to get Fox News on the working monitorsLike others, I’ve had issues with billing — they’ll auto charge you for personal training sessions even if you don’t actually record the session(s). Sometimes you get sick, or your trainer gets sick or isn’t available and you can’t meet up for a workout. Life happens. My trainer once had a family emergency and had to leave the country for a few weeks — doesn’t matter, 24 won’t pause your bill or reimburse you, even when they reopened during the pandemic. Tried to iron this out with the manager several times and they’re never around and never reached out later on. 24’s corporate offices will absolutely hound you with phone calls when they want money. They raised the monthly price in January 2024, tooAll that being said, the gym is roomy, has lots of equipment and there’s plenty of parking despite the number of people parked there. They have protein products, drinks and workout accessories in the front. The location is convenient for me and with patience I can usually get to the weight machines I want to useI find it to be crowded no matter the day or time I come (typically evenings and weekends). The parking lot is always crowded. I try to avoid the bathrooms here so I can’t speak to the cleanliness issues others have mentioned. The big windows are nice and offer a decent view

I have sciatica, they auto renewed my membership and refused to cancel my membership. The gym lockers stink and every single basketball is worn and warped. Won’t return here again.

Attention Triathletes and swimmers. This is NOT the place to go to. The gym is open 24 hours. However, the pool is not. It doesn’t open till 5:30 am. So as a triathlete, I tried to change and pivot my workout from swimming to running. The first 2 treadmills were broken. I gave up at that point and just decided to go to work. Plus, the locker rooms weren’t the cleanest either. Back to Ramsey it is.

Great gym.. the staff are friendly. The manager Augustus was very helpful when I was signing up.. answered my questions and made me feel Comfortable. The place looks clean and saw workers consistently cleaning which is great. Glad I found my go to gym for 2024.

Serious hygiene and safety concerns. I got a 'free 3 day pass' online and went to this gym. The front desk worker told me repeatedly I needed to pay $25. This was not true. I was told to wait near garbage (see photo) for the manager. The manager said I did not need to pay, the pass was free. While I was speaking with the manager the original employee was laughing at me! Then he told me since my ID was out of state I likely need to pay (but he waived the fee). I went to the locker room and none of the locks on the lockers work. There was a used tampon in the shower. The lifeguard for the pool was wearing an earphone. She told me she wears one in case her phone rings. Nothing about this establishment was hygienic or safe.

Tried to freeze my membership for three months. Calledand three times someone hung up 9 on me. Finally, asked for sales figured that would get a response and sure as hell they picked right up.Service in this club is bad to say the least and horrible on a bad day.

I had a bad experience with the lady who works at night in the pool and sauna area, she is very racist, and next time I am going to take charges of discrimination but the manager is a good person .

They need more cleaning staff, the condition in the locker rooms is really bad. And it's like this all the time. Never a manager around to help

I’ve been a member since 2018 the new staff needs to improve customer service . I believe there isn’t a reason to walk away from a customer. If you can’t help escalate . The assistant manager needs customer service training ASAP . I just can’t believe it ….this is Rockland not the Bronx .

Every single thing in this gym is broken from the treadmills, stationary bikes, ellipticals, stair master and lifting equipment. The repair signs stay on the machines for months if not years. The gym is also messy and dirty, not how it used to be a few years ago.

I've been hitting the gym for 18 years of my life, and I'm thankful to have a gym near Bergen County, NJ that lives up to its name of 24-hour fitness. Sure, there are some people concerned about broken machines and cleanliness issues, but when you're a gym bro, you appreciate the fact that this place is open around the clock. The gym has a ton of free weights, cardio machines, leveled benches, and some decent cable machines – literally, everything you need for a great workout. Also, for those that ball out, the courts are open 24 hours – good luck finding that anywhere else in NJ.Plus, there's a 24-hour shop to get your protein in. Not too bad!I'm giving this spot a solid 4 because, let's be real, it definitely could use a custodian doing the dirty work during the quieter times. My suggestions are 2-6 am, 10-2 pm, and 8-12 am.Sure, I'd love the sauna and jacuzzi to be open longer, but hey, that's a personal concern. Today's chest pump was on point, and I'll definitely be back!

The amount of broken equipment here is unreal. Things don't get fixed for months. It's cheaper than any other gym around but you get what you pay for. The best thing about the Nanuet location is the hours and the fact that there's tons of parking. Everything else is pretty awful.

I’ve been a member of 24 hour since January 2019. I used to love this gym, and just recently returned after taking some time off. And I’ve been incredibly disappointed in the state of the facility since returning. The ellipticals are DISGUSTING, every machine where you put your feet is covered in dirt/dust/whatever. Nothing is ever put in the right place, all the free weights are flung about the gym and you have to walk around to find matching pairs. So many things are broken, like lockers or coatings peeling off weights. Even a section of the floor in the free weight area is broken which could be a cause for injury. The garbages are always overflowing and there is constantly garbage on the floor. The gym is just filthy and unorganized. And I look to see other reviews, and many people share the same sentiment and have been complaining for months now - why hasn’t anything been done? We pay a lot of money for this membership, you would think the gym would be clean and organized as a bare minimum.

Gym is good but equipment is left on floor and the weights as well. Some are never re racked and just left there to be. Every time I come here the AC is never on and I’m sweating like crazy.
