“This shop is a hidden gem nestled in historic downtown Nyack NY. My family and myself were on our way to visit sleepy hollow and stopped in the Nyack area for breakfast and the breakfast and burger club. I love quaint little towns that are like a time capsule filled with unique shops that you don't see everyday. We stumbled across Hickory Dickory Dock and discovered a hidden treasure, a little charm shop with unique gifts and handmade german pieces from German steins, to nutcracker, German incense smokers and beautifully crafted Cuckoo clocks. The shop is something like out of a christmas story book and should be appreciated and preserved at all cost because once this shop is gone, there will never be another one like it. I really loved the German incense smoker a lot and had to buy one which would be my first and the start of a new collection of handmade German craft. I have since then used it and it brings me peace of mind and overall had a great experience and learned a lot from the owner. Don't be afraid to ask questions and know the history behind these beautiful pieces. From what I see, these pieces all tell a story in their own way when combined with using your imagination to picture the setting. My German incense smoker was a depiction of a man holding a fishing rod with a fish caught on the hook, the basket he held also had caught fish. He had on fishing boots, rain coat and fisherman's hat, a water bucket on his shoulder and a pipe in his mouth. When you place the incense inside, the imagination engages and I picture an old man looking out to sea on a rainy and Dreary day catching fish and enjoying a good old smoke. This is a must visit charm that will make it so easy to think about your next gift for your friend, family, or loved ones.”
“I absolutely adore this place!I am not from the area, and was there for my partner’s job training. I was looking for something to do to pass time, and am so glad I discovered this shop!The staff is so knowledgeable and exceptionally friendly to customers, and the pets and children that accompany them!I was in there for a long while browsing with my toddler, and I was not rushed at all. They had such a wide variety of beautiful handmade jewelry as well as crystals.When I asked for a specific item, they were able to find one perfect for me! A beautiful little amethyst unicorn!They went above and beyond, even offering recommendations for a local ice cream shop I could go to with my little one. They even recognized me from their Instagram followers!The Gem Mine is a treasure trove of unique finds, and the staff is just out of this world. I will definitely be back when I return to the area again.✨HIGHLY RECOMMEND✨”

They have jewelry, soaps, some clothing, home decor, bags, perfumes, and lots of funny gifts, like a coaster that says 'It's getting increasingly harder to jump out of bed, stumble to the kitchen, and pour myself a cup of ambition.' “I strolled into this store after checking out the hip cafe across the street . It looked interesting and they have all kinds of cool things here to look at and explore . The girl who answered the phone at cardsmart was extremely sweet and anxious to help me come up with ideas for my balloon arrangements. She not only gave me some great ideas, but was able to orchestrate the entire order in such a quick time. The balloon bouquets came out beautiful and my tables looked so festive! Paityn Lynn was so professional and kind and deserves to be recognized for the fine employee that she is! I will be ordering all my helium balloons from card smart from now on!”
