“I always went to quest , after being treated awful for the third time because the person drawing blood said she never received my fax or email she Made me wait 40 minutes with an appointment, never took me in after my drs office confirmed she got the email , I decided to go to lab corp !! “I had an excellent experience at this Labcorp location today. From the moment I checked in to the moment I walked out, less than 10 minutes had passed - everything was incredibly fast and well organized.
The staff were extremely kind, professional, and welcoming. Sonia assisted me at the front desk, explained everything clearly, and also performed my test. This was truly the best experience I’ve ever had. I have very difficult veins and tests are usually stressful for me, but Sonia found a vein immediately and the process was completely painless.
I am very grateful for her skill, patience, and gentle care. Thank you, Sonia, you are the best!

“Michele Duemmer has taken my blood work twice in the past few months at Quest in Indian Rock Airmont Office and she is simply amazing. I have bad veins and hard to even find a vein....rolling as well. “The staff at this location are incredibly kind, professional, and provide excellent service. Although they no longer accept walk-ins, that is not the employees’ fault.
Unfortunately, the website has not been updated and still says walk-ins are accepted, even though this location stopped accepting them on July 14. I hope Labcorp updates this information to avoid confusion for patients.
The staff explained that they are currently short on employees and are doing their very best under challenging circumstances. They deserve patience, understanding, and respect—especially the front desk staff, who are simply following company policies. Thank you to everyone at this location for your kindness and hard work.”

“I recently received a bill for $1,465.00 for a sample diagnosis after an upper GI scope. I have good insurance that already costs me thousands of dollars annually, am retired and to get hit with an unexpected bill like this has never happened before. I was never informed that i would be billed by this company. Now I'm making daily calls to cdx, my Dr's office and my insurance company to try and resolve this. It's very stressful. Do yourself a favor and find out if your dr uses this lab and make sure any test is fully covered. If you don't get a guarantee, I would find another dr. or demand they use another lab. Posting my experience on the Baretts Group on Facebook. If you have Baretts it's an excellent resource.
Update: 6/26/25. I got a call from Sr. Management at the company and they resoloved my issue. We also discussed that companies and Dr.s need to do a better job informing and working with patients ahead of time so that people don't get surprised with expensive bills that can really put them in a bad financial situation. I have since changed my rating because everyone at this company was professional and seemed concerned with resolving this.
Also my rating is soley based on billing practices. I can't speak to whether this test is the latest and greatest but I can say that the company does seem to care about the people it serves. I reserved one star because this experince has left me with feeling uneasy with future proceedures and billing but I think this has become an unfortunatel trend in our current medical system regardless of insurance.”

“I went to Labcorp at Walgreens in New City, NY this week for routine bloodwork. The lady named Candace was very polite and friendly. Not enough blood was coming out of my right vein. She was very apologetic about sticking me again but on my left arm. Her friendliness made it not too painful. She should get a pay raise from Labcorp. Keep your good employees.”
